Great trip to the waterfall

The Ouzoud waterfall is definitely worth a visit. Note that it is a good 3 hours each way by coach to the waterfall from central Marrakech. We left around 8am and arrived back at 7pm so it's a full day trip. The waterfall itself was great; we had a great guide who spoke very good english and french, and he guided us down to the falls, via great viewing spots, monkeys and local sellers. The falls are spectacular, with option to take a short 20 min boat ride around the base of the falls. Ended the afternoon with a visit to a local restaurant back at the top of the falls (price not included). We all had a great time, despite the long transit time!

Response from the operator: thank you for your amazing review I'm glad you enjoy your trip.

Marrakesh Holiday

Marrakesh has been a very good holiday. I did the quad, Camel sand dunes and Ouzud Waterfall was an amazing experience. They were all good experiences, definitely would recommend those excursions again. Ideal for friends and couples

Excellent experience all around

We had a really good time, learned new things about berber culture, and the processing of natural home grown argan and olive oil (the best quality around also fed the monkeys who live free in the area .The waterfalls were absolutely stunning with amazing views. Excellent value for money! The guide we met at the Waterfalls was the highlight of the trip, really funny knowledgeable guy who spoke good English. The boats down at the waterfall are 20 MAD/person and lunch was 100 MAD/person which is more than affordable having in mind you can order as many times as you want. All in all, was a really great and cheap day outside Marrakech. Definitely will recommend this to anyone who is visiting Morocco I had absolute fabulous time !!!

Response from the operator: thank you for your lovely review and Thank you for coming to see us. you are welcome back any time and it was pleasure hosting you in atlas mountains.

From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride cost?

+

Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Marrakech: Ouzoud Waterfalls Guided Tour & Boat Ride start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
