This experience was a bucket list item for me and it did not disappoint our driver. Abdullah was so patient and kind to us throughout the long journey to the desert. It was magical. I cannot recommend it enough

I had a lot of fun on...

I had a lot of fun on this tour. It was tiring, but completely worth it. The experience was well planned, the logistics were organized, and everything ran smoothly. Our guide was very polite, punctual, attentive, and helpful throughout the trip, and also shared interesting information about the places we visited and Moroccan culture. For me personally, I would have liked a clearer idea beforehand of approximately how much cash and extra spending money to bring, especially for the shops and stops along the way. I also would have preferred a little more flexibility with lunch choices instead of having similar meals each day. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience, and I’m very glad I did it.

Response from the operator: Dear traveler, Thank you for your wonderful and honest review. We're so glad you enjoyed the tour and found it well organised. Your tips about cash and lunch flexibility are very helpful for future travelers. Thank you for sharing!

Response from the operator: Dear Jonathan, Thank you for your kind review. We're so glad Saad and Ahmed made your trip safe and enjoyable. Hope to welcome you again!

Amazing 3 day trip

Had an amazing 3 day trip from Marrakech. The whole trip from start to end was full of memory making highlights. The organisation was great including communication, the transport and accommodation we stayed in. Our driver (Mohmad Amijif) was brilliant and helped make sure the tour met all expectations. So many highlights on the trip it is hard to list them all but visiting Ait Benhaddou was incredible and everything in the desert from the camels to watching the sunrise over dunes was amazing.

Response from the operator: Dear Sunshine, Thank you for this glowing review. We're so glad your 3-day trip was full of highlights. Mohmad Amijif will be happy to hear your kind words. Thank you for choosing us!

Amazing people and places!

Unbelievable views in the Sahara, and all the way to it. We had a fantastic experience and it was topped off by our guide Saaid. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. His depth of knowledge of the country and history, as well as his enthusiasm and joking nature made the trip one to remember forever! We loved the experience, the camel ride, the awd in the Sahara (bit expensive but worth it!)! Definitely a must do - it will be hot (even at night during the summer) but would recommend this as a must do in Morocco! Thanks again Saaid!

Response from the operator: Dear Oliver, Thank you for this wonderful review! We're so glad Saaid made your trip unforgettable with his knowledge and good vibes. The Sahara views truly are incredible. Thank you for recommending us!

From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel cost?

+

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 1,843 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel?

+

Around 645 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour to Merzouga with Food and Camel start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
