The guide will bring you closer to the history of the place and will show you the most important places in the underground world. Guided tour in Wieliczka Salt Mine usually takes around 2 - 2.5 hrs. During the tour you will be able to visit St Kinga’s Chapel - 54 m long and almost 12 m high chapel resembles interiors of medieval wooden churches and is a real underground wonder with breathtaking chandeliers made of salt crystals, underground corridors and landscapes that cannot be seen on the surface saline lakes and beautiful underground chambers. On a standard touristic route visitor have to walk around 800 stairs - 400 at the entrance. After the tour our driver will drive you back to Krakow.

Fab experience. Don’t miss out while in Krakow!
Had a fantastic trip today at the salt mines really enjoyed the whole trip. From booking the tour to meeting the driver Bart at the stop was a seamless and everything was taken care of. Bart was really friendly and gave us all the info we needed ahead of the tour, the transfer back as well to the same location was a huge bonus, thank you! Renata inside as tour host around the mines was funny and engaging, I lucked out on the tour I did because of her. Overall a fab experience and if I’m back with friends in Krakow again I’d rebook the same trip. Thanks Bart from KrakowDirect and Renata at the salt mines.

Into the deep with a smile
Our driver Yaro was the best ,he was so chill and we got the best experince that we could. The mine was amazing,our tour guide Kinga told everything perfectly ,the only part we missed to get more photos from each part of the mine,the whole tour was pretty fast paced so we had like 10 seconds to shoot a photo. But besides that the experience was amazing highly memorable !
