Machu Picchu was amazing
We had great experience! Our Guide was absolutely amazing informative and friendly! JOHN was an amazing guide and it felt like we were being led by a family member and not just a tour guide! HOWEVER... the tour company needs a little work! After our hike and tour... there was very little information on the return to town process. Luckily, we were able to follow a group of other tourists who were heading in the same direction.. Then we learned that the tour company had separated me and my brother on both the train and the bus returning to Cusco. Being that only one of us spoke Spanish and we were sharing luggage and devices. We were forced to separate last minute before boarding the bus and train.. We were both placed in separate carts on the train and in separate buses, returning to town which led to difficulties meeting Backup once we were dropped off in town! I was very disappointed to think what if we were a father and son rather than two brothers being separated? Very bad practice on the tour company so please ensure that your party is booked together on the return otherwise plan accordingly

The best option
Very well organized the tour, the timeliness and responsibility of the agency are remarkable. This tour allows you to take advantage of time in the village of Aguas Calientes, a small place but full of everything, it is very worth it. Machu Picchu as always offers an unrivalled experience and Huayna Picchu a challenge with the best views. Super recommended.

To be renewed as soon as possible!!!
Top agency, responsive and very organized. The activities are really well done, I recommend with your eyes closed. Thank you very much Adolfo and his family for welcoming us and transmitting the culture of their countries!

Spectacular service. Recommended!
Spectacular service and assistance. Mr. Adolfo and his team (Silvia and Allan) gave a demonstration of how to welcome a tourist with a high level of quality and kindness. We decided to go to Machu Picchu with little notice and contacted World Explorer via whatsapp. Mr. Adolfo responded to us quickly and even called us to explain how the two-day, one-night tour worked. In fact, this is the tour I recommend for anyone who wants to go to Machu Picchu. More comfortable and less rushed. We had assistance from the World Explorer team from start to finish, concerned about our comfort. I recommend it to everyone!

First trip to Peru from Mexico!
The support from all the Staff during the trip was very good! Even a day before we had personalized attention about what our entire route would be like. They were in charge of supporting us with hotel, train and entrance reservations to Machupichu. We took the Salkantay-Machupichu trek and the route of the 7 Ausangate lagoons. Everyone's attention was excellent! I highly recommend it! We came from Mexico and everyone's attention was very friendly, we would love to return!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu cost?
+
Prices start at $479 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does From Cusco Excursion Machu Picchu more Huayna Picchu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
