    Bad taste at wine tasting

Verona was terrific. Wine tasting was not. Viator advertised it to be an adult experience and the picture they used showed adults in an outdoor vineyard tasting wine. Wine tasting was in a small home that was being used as a day care for about 20 small children. I wish we had left immediately. I contacted Viator 2 times to complain about being misrepresented and asking for my money back on the wine tasting portion of the tour. They refused . I’ve used Viator many times but will not be using them in the future. I sent them the photos I took that day with the photo they used to advertise the tasting. Very disappointing !

Response from the operator: We are truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience during the wine tasting. We understand how the setting did not match your expectations, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused. Regarding the refund request, Viator declined it because the wine tasting did take place as scheduled. In that area we collaborate with several different local partners, and while the service was delivered, we fully recognize that the environment did not reflect what you were expecting based on the advertisement. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us. We will review this situation carefully with our suppliers to ensure greater consistency and to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

What should I bring or wear?
