Capri and Anacapri day
Our guide for the day, Pia, was wonderful!! It was nice to be guided through the public transportation process when it gets chaotic and changing ferries at ports. She explained the process, gave history and facts as we went, and always made us feel comfortable. We enjoyed the smaller group, the price of the experience, and the knowledge we gained. I enjoyed seeing both land and sea with guidance which then helped us plan the remainder of our trip. Thank you Pia!!

Waste of time and money. Rude and misleading guides.
Don't waste your time or money. Boat trip out was fine, got pushed into buying bus tickets to go to Anacapri (when we said we didn't want to and were only planning on going to Capri). Guide said to make sure to leave 15 minutes to get from Capri to the port. We left 45 minutes (erring on the side of caution!) rather than 15 and could not get on a bus (nor could another family on the same boat trip as us). Boat left without us (and the other family) after we ran down multiple flights of steps with children in 30c heat to get to the port and we had to take the ferry back. Would not recommend the tour at all overpriced and waste of money. Do visit Cape and Anacapri but take the public ferry. Others on our tour chose to take the ferry back as the outward boat trip was so bumpy it make them travel sick.

Just ok
Weather conditions led to individuals taking smaller boat from Maiori to Amalfi. No individuals on site to steer you to correct boat if you are on a tour. Ok, understand weather conditions exist but more communication needs to happen with tourists as well as boats.

Nice tour, guide kept our money
Nice enough tour, but had money stolen by our tour guide. When we got to the Mount Salaro chairlift, he told us that if we paid him cash he would get us tickets that would let us skip the line for 14 Euros each, 28 Euros total. All I had were two 20 Euro notes, which he took and said "I'll give you your $12 back when we get back to the bus." Of course, a couple hours later at the bus, he didn't remember the exchange and didn't have the 12 Euros for me. It's not really about the money, because I had planned to tip him anyway, but the belief that he could just help himself to my money was a bit grating. Tour itself was nice, the chairlift ride and ensuring views was spectacular.

Not worth your time or money terrible experience.
This was supposed to be a guided tour however we where left to find our own way around. The guide meet us at the port at Capri but if we had not looked for him we would not have found him. We where then broken up into groups of different speaking languages. But we only had one guild. Who was unable to communicate with everyone. We where left to explore the island on our own with very little to no help from the guild. We could have done the Same thing on our own for a 1/4 of the cost.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amalfi.
How much does From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land cost?
+
Prices start at $190 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amalfi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amalfi is not rushed.
Is From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amalfi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amalfi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amalfi and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does From Amalfi Coast: Capri & Anacapri guided tour by sea & by land start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amalfi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amalfi?
+
On Outty we rank every Amalfi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hands-On Cooking Class & Farmhouse Tour on the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast Boat Rental: Explore, Swim, and Relax at Your Pace, Amalfi Coast & Positano: Boat Tour with Snorkeling & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amalfi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amalfi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
