    About this experience

Your journey will start with a pickup by air-conditioned coach from one of the points in Albir, Altea Benidorm or Calpe*. Kathy (Tour Guide) Julian (Driver) and Round Town Travel went above and beyond to help rescue us when we were lost in Valencia Old Town. Moral is never trust Google maps to give reliable directions in the Old Town. It rerouted us numerous times until we were completely lost. Cannot praise Round Town Travel highly enough.

Dont miss this experience with ROUND TOWN TRAVEL

First of all,as a solo traveller it is sometimes a little awkward to take the step to actually do something while on holiday, for me at least.I need not have worried. From pick up to being dropped of was a memorable experience.Kathy (hoping your name is with a "K" ) is a very friendly, approachable and knowledgable guide who explained everything clearly.Julian, the driver negotiated the perils of driving over here expertly, so a big thanks to him too. There was a mixtures of ages ond nationalities who all seemed very nice.Valencia old town blew me away guided by the lovely Belen was only 10 euros extra , for an expert hour long tour. Some incredible history , and charm about the old town.I will without doubt be going back.I also did the Valencia football ground tour which was only 17 euros. All in all a nailed on 5 stars. Many thanks to the great "Round Town" travel team of today Kathy/Cathy, Juilan and Belen for making my holiday special.

    Obviously, Valencia is...

Obviously, Valencia is lovely and overall, the trip was worth it. One surprising thing was how many extra pick-up locations we had and how long we waited for people to board the coach in some of them. The entire pick-up route took over 1.5 hours, which, if you add the 2 hours of transfer to Valencia, add up to a nearly 4-hour trip. The toilet on the coach is closed and there are no scheduled pee breaks. What’s shocking is the reaction of the guide to toilet break requests. I was basically intimidated into holding it in („We are leaving now, get back to your seat, there’s no toilet on the coach and no toilet breaks until Valencia). Only after two other people made similar request did we stop somewhere random and told to use the facilities in a bar, but only if we buy something there. About half the bus ran for the toilets. It seems to me that if the bus company can stop off at 7 different locations to pick people up, it can also organise a 10-minute scheduled pee break somewhere tried and tested halfway through the trip.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our pickup run from start to finish is 1 hour, this may be exended if there are roadworks, traffic problems or delays in people getting on the coach and finding their seats. It is a legal requirement here to remain seated at all times, with your seatbelt fastened while the vehicle is in motion and so the toilet facilities on board are not to be used. To arrange a 10 minute stop as you state, actually takes some 25-30 minutes real time, by the time passengers have got on and off the coach, entered the service etc. It is not just a 10 minute quick break as you state. That then puts an additional 30 minutes on to what is already a long day. All passengers making such a long journey should not be surprised by the length of the journey or the fact we collect other passengers, but indeed ensure that they are prepared for the journey ahead. Please consider if a potential long journey is for you and if you are a person who needs a regular "pee break" you may want to ask at the time of booking, if this is considered by the excursion company.

    Stadium tour

We (4 adults) were holidaying in Benidorm and decided to book a trip out , we chose to go Valencia , the coach was basic but adequate, air con was ok but no toilet we thought we might struggle with that for a journey over a hour but we managed ok and were encouraged to use toilets whenever we got chance , we got to Valencia and chose the football stadium tour , we had a couple of hours to kill before our tour time of 2.30pm so we used this time to explore the city there is a lot to see and do , 2.30 came and we was off to the stadium tour which was quite good maybe a bit rushed and disappointed not to go into the souvineer shop , but straight after the tour we was off back to Benidorm , we had a great day out and thought it was well worth the money .

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Benidorm.

How much does From Albir, Benidorm & Calpe: Valencia City day trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Benidorm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Albir, Benidorm & Calpe: Valencia City day trip take?

    +

Is From Albir, Benidorm & Calpe: Valencia City day trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 157 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Benidorm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Around 55 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Benidorm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Benidorm and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Benidorm?

    +

On Outty we rank every Benidorm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Benidorm Bike Tour with Hotel Pick up, Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada, Entrance to the Motor Museum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Benidorm?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Benidorm?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
