Amazing & Authentic Italian pasta cooking class!
This was the most authentic pasta making class! You cook along side Roberta and Oliver at their restaurant as the staff preps for the dinner that evening for restaurant patrons. This is not a mass production tourist attraction. It is a real kitchen with Michelin recognizes chefs. Not only do you learn two types of pasta (tagliatelle and tortellini) you also learn how to make the filling and a sauce. The restaurant, the area of Florence and chefs were absolutely lovely! If you want a real cooking experience that isn’t touristy pick Roberta and Oliver’s experience here! You won’t regret it. Pasta was delicious and we ate generous portions along with generous amounts of wine. We just loved our experience and will gladly do it again when we return to Florence. I traveled with a friend and it was just the two of us in the class which was amazing! But I also do think Oliver and Roberta would do well with kids as well as they have the cutest daughter they showed us a video of her making pasta as a toddler. Book now- the pasta was the best we had while in Italy this trip!

Highlight of Florence!
My husband and I had an amazing time cooking with Roberta. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She guided us through the pasta dough making process as we created two fantastic dishes - tagliatelle and tortellini. Our pasta making station was set up in the restaurant, as we were there before the restaurant opened for the evening. Once we finished shaping the pasta, we were guided to our table where we relaxed while the kitchen staff prepared the pasta in the back. We really enjoyed the food- the tortellini was my favourite pasta we had during our time in Italy! This was such a special experience and truly a highlight of our time in Florence. I cannot recommend this enough!!!

Great experience for adults and kids.
Roberta was a wonderful, warm and engaging host. She taught us how to make two types of pasta and a meat ragu. She managed to make it educational and entertaining in a warm atmosphere suitable for adults and kids. You get to see a real restaurant kitchen. And the wine and coffee were a real bonus.

Highly Recommend!
What an amazing experience we had learning the technics and joy of making pasta by hand, all while drinking wine and cheese with the staff of Cuculia. Katarina and head chef Oliver were a delight to learn from; very friendly and informative. After we prepared the pasta and were giving a tutorial on sauces and pasta fillings, we sat down to enjoy more wine, company and the inviting atmosphere of Cuculia. The staff brought out the 2 types of pastas we prepared that the chefs transformed into beautiful works of edible art, that paired superbly with the wine. We ate until we were stuffed. Thank you Cuculia for such memorable time! We plan to take these techniques home to our kitchen.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste cost?
+
Prices start at $52 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste take?
+
Plan for about 2.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fresh Pasta in a Michelin Kitchen: The Secrets of Taste start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
