    Great tour

Great tour! Really great way to see a lot in a short period of time. The wine tasting was pretty brief but everything else was great.

    Great for sight seeing

Our guide Ruben was excellent, on time, informative, friendly and patient. All of the stops were wonderful my favorite was St Paul de Vence. 4 stars because I thought the wine aspect was a bit underwhelming, more about the castle than the wine. Additionally the wine was a bit underwhelming. Great tour to see the city though.

Excellent way to see the area

Excellent tour! Wonderful way to see so much yet feel relaxed and leisurely. Rubin is a fantastic guide!! He picked us up promptly in a lovely air conditioned van and was so informative and friendly. There were 6 of us in the group and he was so attentive to all of us. Rubin pointed out points of interest as we drove to our first stop Antibes. We had time to walk around the mid evil village and also walk to the beach. Next stop was Vence. Rubin made a lunch reservation for us and we were on our own to stroll through the quaint town and take in all of the scenery. The restaurant he picked was delicious and the outdoor seating was lovely. After lunch we drove to a scenic waterfall and view point for pictures. We ended the tour at Chateau de Cremat for a tour of the gorgeous grounds and wine tasting. It was great to have Rubin drive us and entertain us with his information. We felt relaxed all day long. We recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Hello, It is with pleasure that we read your kind review. We are satisfied to have been able to achieve our objective by showing you a part of the French Riviera !

Great driver, lovely company but not really a wine tour

Our driver/guide-Laurent was great. Our company-the other guests, were lovely. However, wine tasting was a 30 minute part of the tour. Antibes is nice, Saint Paul is beautiful, but the rest of the tour was average. If you want a wine tour experience, this is not the tour for you.

Response from the operator: Helo, Thank you for choosing our company and taking the time to write your review. First of all, we draw your attention to the fact that the Wine Tasting is at the end of the tour and that it is only a small part of the tour as indicated in the description of our product. So you had the information before booking the tour schedule of the day. The full title of our product is "Wine tasting, Provencal market, & Countryside Full-Day Tour" and not only aimed at the wine tasting . Indeed the wine tasting lasts around 30 minutes because it is a "Wine Tasting" and not an aperitif or an unlimited consumption of wine, the "tasting" as the word indicates consists of tasting the wine of our region . However, the total time spent at the vineyard is linimum 2 hours (visit to the estate + visit to the castle + tasting) since the aim of this part of the tour is to visit the vineyard, learn how wine is made and actually taste it at the end of the visit. If the consumption of alcohol was insufficient for your taste, you still had the freedom to buy a bottle and consume it or to order glasses of wine. (some customers who appreciated the wine tasted do so from time to time) In our tour the tasting and visit is included, you are free to consume more if you wish to satisfy your desires. We hope that our explanations have convinced you and if your evaluation changes following these few explanations, we would be delighted to appreciate your new rating on the product :) Sincerely.

French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.

How much does French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside cost?

    +

Prices start at $164 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.

Is French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does French Riviera, Wine tasting, Provencal market and Countryside start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
