Great introduction to Oaxaca
Thoroughly enjoyed this well paced and informative tour, given by Abel, who we all thought went above and beyond our expectations. Time to explore the places on the route and have a drink in the hot weather - we tried a drink made in Oaxaca called Tejate - wonderful. Came away with a great understanding of Guelaguetza - the gift of sharing. Thank you Abel for sharing your pride in Oaxacan culture, all for free, although everyone happily gave a donation.
Response from the operator: We’re very grateful for your kind words! 💛 Your message will be shared with Abel, and we know it will mean a lot to him. It’s always wonderful to hear that our guests take away such a meaningful impression of Oaxaca’s traditions.

How many days do you need in Oaxaca City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
