U expected private tour
The other group pulled out so it ended up being a private tour, just me and the guide, Daniella. The lake was lovely and the wine tasting, if making conversation, as delicious. A beautiful part of the world and I found the trip informative and enjoyable.

Do not book your tours through Ciao Florence
The trip itself was great, but the service of ciao Florence was honestly terrible. They texted me 3 days before the date of my tour to tell me they had cancelled it entirely, and I could either reschedule to a tour 1 day away or do an entirely different excursion. Despite the short notice, we decided to do the one on a different date, as we just so happened to be in the city and free that day. I texted them asking for the tickets, and did not hear a response until I followed up the night before (when our tour was at 8:00am the next day). They sent us our tickets, but somehow excluded the boat tour that I was quite confident I had booked. They offered to add it to my booking for an additional 20 euros, and I followed up asking if they could add if free of charge given they had changed our entire itinerary 3 days prior with no notice or compensation. They refused to give us any help or add the boat tour our bill, so we just gave in and offered to pay for it. Yet again they did not respond to me ever, and we showed up to the tour the next morning and our guide did not have our name or information on her list. We had to stand outside and wait while she repeatedly called them til the eventually told her that we were on this tour, despite never giving her the information. The tour guide and driver were excellent, and the tour itself was great. However, the ciao Florence service team was one of the worst booking experiences I’ve had while traveling and would not recommend.

Is Franciacorta Wine Tasting Tour from Milan with Lake Iseo Cruise worth it?
+

How far in advance should I book Franciacorta Wine Tasting Tour from Milan with Lake Iseo Cruise?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 9.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Franciacorta Wine Tasting Tour from Milan with Lake Iseo Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Milan?
+
On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Milan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Milan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
