    About this experience

Enjoy a hands-on food experience at La Vigna degli Dei, a family-run farmhouse above the Amalfi Coast. This experience focuses on tradition, seasonal ingredients, and family recipes. Begin with a walk around the farm and gardens to meet the animals and learn about daily life. You’ll then forage fresh herbs on the property, which will be used in the dishes you prepare. Back in the kitchen, you’ll learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch. Guided by the family, you’ll prepare traditional ravioli filled with foraged herbs and handmade tagliatelle using recipes passed down through generations. During the experience, you’ll taste homemade organic wine and visit the cellar where it’s produced. To finish, prepare lemon tiramisù made with homemade limoncello and lemons from the farm, or a classic tiramisù depending on the day. End the experience by enjoying the food you helped prepare in a relaxed farmhouse setting.

A must do expierence by the amalfi coast!!

The most memorable exprience we had on vacation. The family were very kind. My sister and I had an amazing time making ravioli, fettucine and tiramisu. It was the most beautifull garden we have ever been in. 10/10 recommend. Book through there own website is my advise because we had the wrong time at our ticket.

    Unforgettable Honeymoon

Beautiful experience with a local who creates everything on his own, power, water, food and every ingredient. Doesn’t get any better and personal than that. Highly recommend. The food we made was delicious

    Country Farmhouse Cooking

Best day ever! Spent the day with Pedro and his family on their farm, making the most delicious meal I’ve ever had. Everything was organic or fresh from the garden….from the homemade wine to the goat cheese and everything in between. Such an incredible experience I’ll never forget.

    Pasta and a Great Farm!

Our cooking class was held at a beautiful home and small farm, which provided a really charming and authentic setting. The host was intelligent, funny, and moved quickly, keeping the energy up even with a large group. We loved that the class was very hands-on when it came to rolling out pasta and shaping ravioli. Adding fresh herbs into the cheese filling was a nice touch, and having a glass of wine while cooking made the experience more enjoyable. Originally, our group was 12, but when a group of 9 additional guests showed up, they were kindly welcomed in. While this was generous, it did make the class quite time-consuming and involved a lot of waiting around—especially before eating, when everyone was hungry. The food, once served, was absolutely delicious and there was plenty for everyone. However, we were a little disappointed that we didn’t actually make the tiramisu ourselves, as it had already been prepared in advance and was just served at the end. Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience in a beautiful location, with kind hosts and great food—just be prepared for possible delays if the group size grows.

Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.

How much does Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family cost?

    +

Prices start at $63 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.

Is Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family?

    +

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Forage Herbs, Make Grandma’s Ravioli & Tiramisù w Our Family start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Positano?

    +

On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Positano?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Positano?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
