Great tour, food and trip!
We really enjoyed our food tour of the Fes medina with Kamal. He was a knowledgeable and engaging guide who clearly knows the medina inside out. He introduced us to a wonderful variety of local flavours — from freshly baked traditional breads and tangy buttermilk to delicious sardines and kofte. Each stop offered something different. Along the way, we also had the chance to see several skilled craftsmen at work, which gave us a real appreciation for the artistry that still thrives in the medina today. The visit to the herbalist was another highlight — fascinating and full of aromas. Overall, it was a relaxed and fascinating way to experience Fes. We came away full, happy, and with a much deeper understanding of the city. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! 🌟 We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your foodie tour of Fes with Kamal. It’s wonderful that the variety of local flavors, the craftsmen, and the herbalist visit gave you a deeper appreciation of the medina. We’re delighted you had a relaxed and fascinating experience, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable journey in Morocco!

How far in advance should I book Foodie and Sightseeing Tour in Fez El Bali?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?

What are the best things to do in Fez?
+
On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fez?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fez?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
