Rachael and Fiona - Marrakech food tour with Original Tours & Kimkim

Had an amazing food tour with Said from Original Tours / Kimkim. I'm not known for being intrepid with food but we were in great hands with Said. Who highlighted traditional Moroccan cuisine and in particulars local Marrakech delicacies. I tried snails, sheep's head and amazing Msemmen. Thanks Siad for a great food tour, your knowledge, story telling and kindness were very appreciated.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear you had such a memorable food tour with Said. It sounds like you really embraced the adventure and tried some truly unique Moroccan delicacies! We'll be sure to pass along your appreciation to Said—his passion for sharing the culture and cuisine really shines through. We hope this experience sparked even more curiosity for Moroccan flavors. Looking forward to welcoming you again on another adventure soon!

A Great Experience 😃

What a lovely person, Ahmed is so helpful and patient. having visited the souks in the past and gotten lost | said | better get a guide this time "especially since | was bringing my six and nine year old with us". From the very start Ahmed reorganised our trip so it would be earlier to avoid the excessive heat that is in Morocco at the moment.... he also helped with hotel transfers and guided us through the market vendors so we didn't get ripped off. Ahmed gave us a lots of information about the area including its early history.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that Ahmed was helpful and patient during your visit. It's great that he could reorganize your trip to avoid the heat and assist with hotel transfers. We're glad you and your children had a smooth experience in the souks and that Ahmed provided valuable information about the area's history. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future!

Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights. cost?

+

Prices start at $18 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights. take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights. worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights.?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights. suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights.?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Food tour in Marrakech, local tastings, stories & sights. start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
