Highly disappointing tour

I tried to give this tour the benefit of the doubt, but it was really disappointing and ultimately a waste of money. First, logistical issues. This tour can be combined with other tours the operator offers. Apparently, I was the only one who had signed up for this portion, and everyone else had come from another tour and was already an established group. It was very confusing and uncomfortable to join halfway through. The guide didn't have my name on a list, didn't come to the right meeting point, and I had to call the company's "emergency number" for clarification. Second, and most importantly, it's a HUGE stretch to even call this a street art tour. I signed up because, while I had seen much of the art before in previous days, I really wanted to understand the context, background, and intent behind it. I've been to many graffiti tours in different countries and they're usually a really deep dive. This tour was super surface-level. Essentially just a few fun facts here and there about art and architecture. The guide asked multiple times what our interpretation of the work was (I get art is open-ended but he rarely delivered the helpful context we needed to make our own assumptions) and sometimes simply read words in the pieces and shared the artists' names, which were already tagged on the piece. In terms of value add, it was slim-to-none. I gave it a full hour, but left after it became apparent it wasn't really a true street art tour. I'm sure the others on the tour who hadn't even walked through this area enjoyed it, but do not sign up if you actually want to learn about street art and graffiti in Tel Aviv. It was a lowlight of my trip :(

Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, We are sorry to hear that your expectations of the tour did not match. Kindly note as shown on our website, the Graffitti tour can be combined with our Jaffa and Neve Tzedek Tour, with Tel Aviv Food Tour or with both, for a full-day Tel Aviv and Jaffa Tour, therefore you might have met another travelers that combined one of those tours. We would love to be in touch with you to hear more details about your experience, Have a nice day.

Avoid this street art tour!

Our tour was awful. We showed up 15” early, per the company’s instructions. Our tour guide was over 30” late, and since there was no communication from the company about this (like a WhatsApp call), none of us who were waiting knew whether to keep standing around in the street or leave. We finally reached someone at the company, who expressed surprise that the guide wasn’t there and said he’d show up “soon.” No explanation was given. Eventually the guide arrived. When he did finally show up, he said his lateness was a constant problem because the company refused to build in time for him to get a large group of tourists from the Carmel Market to Florentin for the graffiti tour. He said he’d asked multiple times for the graffiti tour to start later so he wouldn’t always arrive late. He apologized for his lateness and then apologized in advance for the fact that the graffiti he was about to show us would be disappointing. He wasn’t wrong… The tour itself was a lousy experience. Our guide spoke English very poorly and seemed to have a stutter, and so every sentence took about 4 times longer than normal to come out. It was excruciating. We saw very little graffiti and, in general, he took us to pieces that were unimpressive, walking right by the impressive ones. He also took us to a random store that makes paddles for beach paddle ball, gave us a long story about how the paddles are made, and then suggested we buy some. Absolutely bizarre on a graffiti tour! Several people just left during the tour without saying goodbye, including our adult children, who were bored and couldn’t stand the excruciatingly slow pace. My husband and I couldn’t wait for the experience to end, so we left a bit early, even though we started about 40” late (because once the guide had finally shown up, we all had to wait while the group he’d brought from Carmel Market used the bathroom). This was the worst tour I’ve ever been on. We paid for our family of five and wish we could get our money back. You don’t tell people to arrive 15” early for a tour that starts 40” late! False advertising!

Response from the operator: Dear Eve, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, It saddens us to hear that your tour expectations did not match, we would like to be in touch with you to hear more details and further look into the matter. We look forward to seeing you again to enhance your experience with us. Have a nice day!

Terrible tour and waste of time

Terrible service. Tour guide didn’t know what he was talking about and made up things as he was going through the town. Ended up finishing the tour 1 hr early.

The street art walking tour was great. The guide, Sivan, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and engaged the audience throughout the tour. I high recommend him.

Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tel Aviv.

How much does Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tel Aviv usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour take?

+

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tel Aviv is not rushed.

Is Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tel Aviv, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tel Aviv can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tel Aviv and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Florentin, Tel Aviv Saturday Morning Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tel Aviv within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tel Aviv?

+

On Outty we rank every Tel Aviv experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Pub Crawl Night Tour at Tel Aviv, Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Jaffa Guided Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tel Aviv?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tel Aviv?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
