Outstanding Wine Tasting by Ponte Vecchio
An absolutely outstanding wine tasting experience in Florence! The setting could not have been more perfect—an elegant and beautifully designed venue with breathtaking views of Ponte Vecchio. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of by an exceptional team whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire experience truly special. Our sommelier was fantastic: highly knowledgeable, passionate about Tuscan wines, and able to explain every wine in an engaging and accessible way. We learned a great deal while enjoying a carefully selected range of excellent wines, each with its own unique character and story. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed, making it the perfect experience for both wine enthusiasts and those simply looking to enjoy a memorable evening in Florence. Everything—from the quality of the wines to the impeccable service and stunning location—exceeded our expectations. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Florence, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, elegant, and unforgettable wine experience. We will definitely return on our next visit

A Must-Do Wine Experience in Florence
I stumbled upon this wine tasting spot just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio, and honestly… it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Florence. From the moment we walked in, everything felt easy and welcoming. The staff were genuinely friendly and so knowledgeable, but in a way that never felt “formal” or intimidating. They took their time, explained each wine with real passion, and somehow made us feel like we were discovering something special with every glass. I learned a lot and had so much fun doing it. Every wine we tasted was outstanding: beautifully balanced, full of character, and you could truly taste the richness of the region in every sip. It didn’t feel like a simple tasting; it felt like an experience. Totally worth it, especially for the quality and the location. If you’re in Florence, don’t miss this. We’ll 100% be back! 🍷✨

A scam! The low price is not for a wine tasting!!
This was a scam! The $5.95 is a booking fee for what was supposed to be a $30 wine tasting. I arrived early to the location given to be told the restaurant closes until 6pm. They had no knowledge of the wine tasting.
Response from the operator: Dear We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, but we must clarify a few important points. Firstly, we regret any confusion, but there is no wine tasting scheduled for 6 PM (18:00) on our calendar. Our last wine tasting tour of the day takes place at 4:30 PM (16:00). The restaurant is open every day except Mondays during the winter season. Wine tastings are held strictly at the designated time and require a reservation with a professional sommelier. There is no record of a reservation from you for January 9, 2026. Therefore, your information does not correspond to reality Secondly, we want to assure you that we operate with complete transparency and integrity. We do not engage in any deceptive practices. Thirdly, it’s simply not feasible to offer a high-quality traditional wine tasting with a professional sommelier for just €5 anywhere in the world. Our pricing and experience details are clearly outlined in the product description. Your review leaves us puzzled, as it does not align with our booking records or standard operations. To investigate this matter further, we kindly ask you to provide us with your booking voucher to confirm your reservation for our service. We take our reputation very seriously and believe this situation is based on a misunderstanding. We are more than happy to assist you further and resolve any issues you may have encountered. Thank you for your understanding. Warm regards,

Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Wine Tasting at Ponte Vecchio with Sommelier start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
