Perfect Cooking Class for Everyone
Niccolo was amazing and super funny! He was very knowledgeable about the food and shared some wonderful stories about his experience in Florence and running the cooking class. I booked this experience for my honeymoon. Luckily, we were the only ones there which made the class more intimate and gave us more opportunities to interact with Niccolo and ensure the dishes turned out wonderfully. Couldn’t image a more perfect way to start our time in Florence! Also, between the two types of pastas, drinks, and dessert, we were stuffed! Most importantly, I would describe Niccolo like a character straight out of Netflix Italian rom-com (we told him the same and he laughed). I would highly recommend booking this class as a group, couple or individual. You will not regret it. When we go back to Florence, I will definitely be booking again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your experience was so special, especially as part of your honeymoon. It’s great to know the class felt intimate and engaging, and that you enjoyed both the atmosphere and the delicious dishes. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back in Florence!

Well worth doing!
Great time making two different pasta dishes and a tiramisu. Nicollo was a fantastic teacher and host, taking us through making pasta the way his grandmother did! Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re truly delighted to hear that you had such a great time making two different pasta dishes and tiramisu. It’s especially lovely to know that Niccolò made the experience so memorable — sharing traditional techniques, just like his grandmother used to do, is exactly the authentic touch we hope our guests will enjoy. We really appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another delicious experience in Italy soon!

Best pasta meal
There was only the 2 of us in this class and we spent a wonderful evening cooking with Niccolo. What a nice and smart young man with excellent cooking skills. Learned how to make spagetti and ravioli and Tiramisu from scratch in a cozy and clean kitchen. He used very good ingredients as well. At first, I thought he was British because he spoke English so well. We were served proseco and Niccolo made us a delicious Aperol spritz and it was the best pasta meal we’d had in Florence and Rome! Simple but so well cooked and flavorful. We enjoyed Niccolo so much, next trip, we will join him for his pizza making class.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review. We are truly happy to hear you had such a wonderful cooking experience with Niccolò. His passion, skills, and attention to quality ingredients are exactly what we strive to offer. We are delighted the class became such a memorable evening and look forward to welcoming you again for the pizza class.

Fun authentic Italian cooking
Our family had an awesome time in this cooking class in Florence! We made fresh pasta, gnocchi and ravioli, and tiramisu from scratch, laughed the whole way through, and actually learned so much. It felt so real and relaxed being in a home-style kitchen rather than a restaurant. We know that all of this feels totally doable at home. Can’t wait to impress our friends with a homemade pasta night! Thanks, Alessio and Niccolo, your personalities and encouragement made for a fun class. Highly recommend for anyone wanting authentic Italian fun, and food vibes.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're so happy to hear that your family had such a fun and memorable time cooking with us. It was a pleasure having you in our kitchen—your energy and enthusiasm made it a joy for us too! We're thrilled you feel confident to recreate everything at home (your friends are in for a treat!). Grazie mille from both Alessio and Niccolò—we hope to welcome you back again for more Italian food and fun!

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class cost?
+
Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence: Hands-On Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
