Most impressive tasting ever
Just amazing! I‘ve visited to so many wineries globally but never ever I had such a great time. It‘s for sure at the first moment quite expensive (140€ p/p) but afterwards it was worth every penny. Amazing, very modern winery with guest houses, great (cooked) food coming along with the wines. And a lovely guidance through the 2 hours+ with Alessia. And all of this - just for the two of us. Thaaank you so much!

Pleasant voisit to Gagliano Winery
We bought a couple of bottles after having Gagliano bianco 2024 with fish at a restaurant. At the Winery everybody was off to a wine fair except a person in the administration. She was most extremely helpful.

A Tuscan Highlight: Incredible Wine & Family Friendly!
Rare that I write a review but I felt this most definitely merited one! Given a wonderful tour by Alessandro, the Sommelier, who was the highlight of the day; he's incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about his craft, yet he made the entire tour fun and engaging rather than formal or dry. Alessandro was completely unfazed by three highly energetic children under the age of five! He was patient, welcoming, and made us feel entirely at ease, which is a rare find when doing a wine tour with toddlers in tow! Kids were delighted when he produced a board laden with cheese and charcuterie for them. And adults were equally delighted to taste the wines! In all, a fantastic tour from start to finish - the setting and scenery was beautiful and the wine was simply incredible. For anyone visiting the area, it is a must-see for wine lovers and families alike. Can't wait to return!

Gagliole : Pick here to visit!
I have visited many wine makers / vineyards. Gagliole is easily accessible, beautiful, perfectly clean and an overall lovely place to learn about wine, Gagliole, and Chianti. All the rooms are pristine. Alessandro is a great host. You can ever pre-arrange a lunch with your tasting. Oh - by the way - the wine is fantastic and reasonably priced for great wine. A visit is well worth it!

Beautiful winery with delicious wine
We had a wonderful visit to Gagliole. Cosimo was an excellent host - charming, friendly and knowledgeable. The property was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the tour and learning about how they make the wines. We had a delicious lunch paired with their wines, and everything was very good. We ordered a case to be shipped to us so we could remember this wonderful afternoon. Thanks Cosimo!

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole cost?
+
Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence: Chianti Classico Private WineTour & Tasting at Gagliole start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
