Two Cities, Countless Photos, and a Day Full of Memories
Our group of friends wanted to make the most of our time in La Spezia, and spending the day exploring Florence and Pisa was an excellent choice. We were excited about the famous landmarks, but we also wanted time to walk around, enjoy the atmosphere, and take plenty of photos together. Florence was full of surprises. The cathedral was breathtaking, and every street seemed to have another beautiful building, small shop, or interesting corner to discover. We loved walking across Ponte Vecchio and stopping around Piazza della Signoria. The city felt elegant and historic without losing its lively, everyday character. We also enjoyed the atmosphere around the Mercato Centrale area, where there were plenty of tempting food options and opportunities to experience local life. Pisa was equally enjoyable, especially when we finally saw the famous Leaning Tower. Naturally, we spent some time trying different poses for our group pictures, which became one of the funniest moments of the day. It was a busy excursion, so comfortable shoes and a little flexibility are definitely helpful. However, visiting both places in one day made the experience feel special and worthwhile. We came away with great photographs, lots of laughs, and memories that we will talk about for a long time. Five stars for a memorable Italian adventure with friends.

A Beautiful Italian Escape for Two
My partner and I were looking forward to seeing more of Tuscany during our cruise, and this day gave us a lovely opportunity to experience two of Italy's most recognizable destinations together. Florence was particularly special because of its romantic atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and charming historic streets. Walking through Florence felt like stepping into another time. We admired the incredible cathedral, enjoyed the views around Piazza della Signoria, and crossed the famous Ponte Vecchio together. There was something lovely about simply wandering through the city, looking at the old buildings, and discovering picturesque corners along the way. We would have happily spent much longer there. Pisa offered a completely different but equally memorable experience. Seeing the Leaning Tower up close was exciting, and the surrounding Piazza dei Miracoli was beautiful. We took several photographs together and enjoyed having time to appreciate the scenery instead of rushing straight from one picture to another. Although visiting two cities in one day means making a few choices about how to spend your time, the variety made the excursion worthwhile. We appreciated being able to enjoy Florence's artistic charm and Pisa's iconic sights during the same shore excursion. It was a wonderful day to share as a couple, and one of the highlights of our Italian cruise.

Again, this is the second booking for our group of 20 people. We had 9 kids in our group and Lorenzo was amazing in accommodating our needs.

We had a great time with our guide Lorenzo. We had two bookings of 10 people, so a total of 20 people in our group. Lorenzo was experienced, knowledgeable and super friendly.

Not a good experience with this company
Unfortunately, we were not able to do this tour. They informed us that it was canceled 16 hours before the tour was supposed to depart while we were in the middle of the sea. If we didn't happen to purchase the internet package in our cruise ship, we would have been left with nothing to do in the morning of. We understand they reserve the right to cancel at any time for luck of participation, however, the same thing happened in a different city and the company offered us a different tour that was very similar. This company, on the other hand, showed lack of regard for their customers. If you decide to book this tour please be aware you might end up in the same situation. We were lucky to find a similar excursion with our cruise ship but this is not always the case with less than 24 hours before you arrive in a port. My recommendation, if you book this tour, would be to have a plan B just in case.
