Viator cancels tickets
Don’t purchase tickets through Viator. Viator canceled tickets twice the day of the tour to Accadamia and the Vatican
Response from the operator: We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with Viator and understand how frustrating last-minute cancellations can be. For future visits, our team will ensure your tickets and tours are confirmed and handled with care. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to have the chance to provide you with a seamless experience next time.

Guide Never Showed
Guide(s) never showed up. We were in the area checking where we had to be an hour early. We arrived at the set point 30 minutes early and waited there for 40 minutes. We asked employees of the museum if we were in the correct place. They confirmed we had the correct address for the meeting point, as it happens to be directly across the street. We called the number viator.com provided but it's an automated number that says the person isn't available and goes into how to more advertisements. We eventually got into line get into the museum ourselves and saw that no one else or any guides ever showed up across the street up to 20 minutes past the set time. We saw the museum on our own. I will be following up with viator.com shortly. This review is same day.
Response from the operator: We hope this message finds you well. We would like to sincerely apologise for the oversight regarding your recent booking with us, which happened to fall on a free entrance day at the museum. We understand this may have caused some inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your understanding. To make it right, we have processed a full refund for your booking. You should see the amount reflected in your account shortly, depending on your payment provider. Thank you for your support, and we hope to welcome you again soon under better circumstances. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Tickets but not a tour.
I was happy to snag these tickets at the last minute (day before) as previous plans had fallen through. When we arrived at the meeting place, there were many groups and it was difficult to find which one had our tickets. We found the right group by asking each person who seemed to have a list. The man we were directed to didn’t have us on the list. I told him we had booked last night and he called someone to confirm. Once confirmed, we were handed our tickets and told to get in line. We did not get a guided tour but I was grateful to have the tickets and experience the Accademia anyway.
Response from the operator: Dear Amanda, We are really sorry for the inconvenience. Our staff made a mistake. we will send you the refund.

Draining tour that started late.
Seeing Michelangelo's David was great, but the tour I would not recommend. We waited 20 minutes outside in the heat for people who were late (they never showed up). We ended up missing our time and had to wait longer. Our guide rambled and rambled and rambled. Everyone in our group (6 people ... 4 I didn't know) looked checked out and bored. I have a degree in art history and studied abroad in Florence back in the day and a lot of the information our guide shared wasn't even applicable. It was like she talked to fill up the time.
Response from the operator: Thank you for letting us know about your experience. your feedback helps us get better. we are looking into this issue and hope to resolve it promptly and accurately.

Lara an excellent guide
This was a lovely tour of the museum. Lara was such a lovely person and so informed on all of the history of the art and the artist. I so very much enjoyed this tour and will book it again if ever back to Florence with friends. I recommended highly
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing Destination Europe and for sharing your experience. your review means a lot to us.

Why this scores 43
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence Accademia Guided Tour Skip The Line Tickets Included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
