Uffizi & Accademia walking tours
Silvia, our guide had a wonderful knowledge of the arts and historical artefacts on the tour. She was patient, enthusiastic and passionate about the history in Florence. Well Recommend.

Good tour, but very quick.
Good tour, but very quick. The tour was good and we went straight in to see David, which was the main reason we booked it. The guide explained David and pointed out a few other notable pieces of art along the way, but overall, it was a very quick tour. The tour lasted exactly one hour. At the end, we returned our headsets and the guided portion was finished. Since we were already inside the museum, we were able to go back through the other galleries on our own and take our time exploring, which was actually a nice benefit. Overall, the tour did exactly what we expected—it got us in, provided some background on David and a few other works, and allowed us plenty of time afterward to explore the museum independently.

We visited David several...
We visited David several years ago on our own, but decided to do a hosted tour on our most recent visit. Margret our host was fabulous. So much knowledge and insight that we missed on our 1st visit. It was also great to skip the main queue with our guide. Would highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the 5 star review! It is always special to welcome return visitors to Florence, and we are thrilled that seeing Michelangelo’s David with Margaret offered such a fresh, deep perspective compared to exploring on your own. Margaret’s wealth of knowledge and insights truly make all the difference in bringing the details, history, and craftsmanship of the museum’s masterworks to life. We are also glad that using our reserved entry to bypass the main general admission queue saved you time and made your second visit smooth and effortless! Thank you for choosing Florence and Global Tours and for recommending our team. We will happily share your kind words with Margaret, and we hope to host you on another Florence adventure in the future!

Enjoyable tour
Lovely and very knowledgeable guide. The hour tour was perfect for our family and just enough to see the highlights. This was a true “skip-the-line” and I was grateful for that - the regular line was very long! Definitely worth it and I learned a lot of history in just an hour!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the 5 star review! We are delighted to hear that the 1 hour tour was the perfect fit for your family and provided just the right balance of history and iconic highlights. We know how precious time is when traveling with family, especially in the Florence heat! Using our reserved entry tickets to bypass that daunting general admission line is the best way to get straight to Michelangelo’s David without the tiring wait. We are thrilled that your guide made the experience both educational and seamless for everyone. Thank you for choosing Florence and Global Tours. We hope to welcome you and your family back for more Italian adventures in the future!

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 143 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour?
+
Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Florence: Accademia Gallery Entry Ticket and David Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
