More Than a Tour—An Experience We’ll Never Forget
There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are to Hun and his amazing tour group. He truly made our trip unforgettable and created memories that our family will cherish forever. From the very beginning, Hun was in constant contact with me leading up to our tour. He patiently answered every question we had and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. He created a wonderful itinerary for us and then gave us plenty of time to make any changes or adjustments. Everything was so thoughtfully planned and personalized to our family. We were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel in a spacious, comfortable, air-conditioned van, which was especially appreciated during the August heat. My two teenage sons, ages 14 and 16, had the absolute best time with Hun. They loved listening to him share the history, stories, and interesting details about every place we visited. He made everything engaging and fun, and the boys were genuinely excited to learn along the way. Hun also took us to some absolutely delicious places to eat and even went out of his way to make sure my picky eater was happy. One of our favorite experiences was visiting a traditional tea house, which we all loved. He even found a few arcades where the boys could take a break, cool off, and have some fun. This trip was my birthday gift to myself for a milestone birthday, and it was truly my dream trip. I had very high expectations, but the experience went far beyond anything I could have imagined. My family and I will never forget how special this trip was, and Hun played such a huge part in making it that way. I highly, highly recommend Hun and his amazing tour group. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, thoughtful, accommodating, and genuinely cares about making your trip special, look no further. We are so grateful for everything he did for our family and will always remember this incredible experience!

Korean Tour
My Korean tour with Soo was an amazing experience that I’ll always remember. We got to explore so many different places around Seoul, from beautiful sights and cultural landmarks to busy streets filled with shops, food, and unique experiences. Every place we visited gave us something new to appreciate about Korea, and getting to experience it all with Soo made the trip even more special. It was such a fun and memorable adventure, and I’m really grateful that we got to see so much of Seoul together.

9 hour layover korea tour with Soo
We had such a great time touring Korea with Soo! He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the entire day. We learned so much about Korea’s history and culture, but it never felt like we were just being given facts—he made everything interesting and easy to understand. He also tailored the tour around what we wanted to see and do, which made the experience feel so much more personal. Soo even went out of his way to help us shop at certain stores, especially Olive Young, where the language barrier could sometimes be challenging. Having him there made everything much easier and saved us so much time. We also really enjoyed talking with him during the drives—he made us feel comfortable, and the conversations made the entire day even more fun. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had spent the day exploring Korea with a friend rather than just a tour guide. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend Soo to anyone visiting Korea!

Soo is the best guide ever!!!!
After joining many tours and traveling to different countries, I can confidently say that Soo was the best guide we've ever had. There are so many great things to say about him, but here are a few highlights: 1. Friendly and full of positive energy Soo was always kind and had a smile on his face. His positive energy made our tour even more enjoyable, and we found ourselves smiling along with him. 2. Incredible knowledge of Korean history Soo knew so many historical facts and answered every single question we asked. He is an incredibly intelligent person, and his explanations made every place much more meaningful. 3. Flexible with our itinerary We were more interested in Bukchon Hanok Village than Starfield Library, so Soo happily adjusted our itinerary to match what we wanted. He truly listened to our preferences instead of following a fixed schedule. 4. Comfortable and spotless minivan Soo drove a clean and very comfortable minivan. Honestly, I wish we had one like that in our own country! 5. Thoughtful and caring Soo checked whether we had any food allergies, if we liked spicy food, and whether anyone had difficulty walking. Soo paid attention to every little detail and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. There are many more reasons why we loved this tour, but these are the ones that come to mind first. The thing that impressed us the most was how much Soo genuinely loves Korea and truly loves being a guide. Soo's passion made us feel connected to Korea, and he gave us an unforgettable experience that we'll always remember. We'll definitely recommend Soo to our friends and family, and we'll book another tour with him the next time we visit Korea. We already can't wait to join his other tours, like the DMZ, Suwon, and Nami Island. Thank you, Soo, for giving us such wonderful memories. We're cheering you on and wish you all the best in the future. We strongly recommend SOO—don't miss the chance to tour Korea with him!

Why this scores 83
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.
How much does Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover) cost?
+
Prices start at $225 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover) take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seoul is not rushed.
Is Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 410 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover)?
+
Around 144 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Flexible Private Guided Tour in Seoul (Optional Layover) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seoul?
+
On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best: DMZ Tour from Seoul. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seoul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seoul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
