Wonderful tour!
Raja led us on a wonderful tour of Fez. The depth of her knowledge about the city of Fez (and Moroccan history/culture more broadly) was truly impressive. She showed us so many things that we never would have discovered on our own. She was also very personable and easy to talk to.
Response from the operator: Hi, thank you for this positive review; was a pleasure to have you as guest. Hope to welcome you next time :) Kaoutar & Rajae

Meriam provided a great tour
Our guide, Meriam, met us at our Riyad at 10 am and made sure she knew what tour experiences we were interested in before starting out and amazingly navigating the incredibly complex-to us-streets of the Medina. She answered our general questions as we walked and pointed out 1 million things such as public fountains and community bakeries, and more things than I can currently remember. We opted for the triangle tour that included the first university (built in the ninth century, !)and founded by a woman, the the mausoleums of King Idris and his son. If a site is holy, non-Muslims can’t enter, but can look in and take photographs. The depth of. Meriam’s knowledge was incredible as was her ability to explain. We learned so much about the design of the tile and spaces that we entered one of the most interesting things we did was at our choice we saw a madrassah dating back to. I don’t know when but it doesn’t operate anymore. It was just really cool to see the classroom and the little dormitory rooms that the students stayed in By the way, our tour was in English and her English was very good. Also Meriam was not thrown by the fact that one of us walks witn a cane that might have required her to change the route a bit here and there. of On our way to the.Must see tanneryarea, we stopped and watched a man doing very intensive labor, weaving a bedspread on a hand operated loom that required him to move his arms constantly. The products in the store where he worked for beautiful. were beautiful. We walked through copper souk on the way to the the Tannery. The artisans started with huge rolls of copper. Meriam let us watch the tannery work while she stepped away to make room for others jostling to look down at the men tanning and dyeing leather in vats of strong chemicals or paint. An incredible sight. Then we took some minute shopping for leather. One of us is a vegetarian and wanted part of leather buying but that did not diminish the experience of watching men doing 1000 year-old job expertly. Although our guide was a woman, we did not notice any emphasis or mention of how a woman’s life in the Medina might be different than a man’s. Except for the fact that women and men are separate in mosques.
Response from the operator: we would like to thank you for this positive review; was a pleasure to have you as guest. Hope to welcome you next time :) Kaoutar & Meriam

A Great Way to Discover the Medina of Fez
We really enjoyed our tour of the Medina of Fez with Rajae from Fed Female Guide. We visited the main highlights and learned a lot about the history and culture of the city. Rajae was very knowledgeable and also gave us some really useful recommendations and tips. We travelled with our four-year-old daughter, and while a tour of the Medina can be a little tiring for very young children, she enjoyed the experience. Overall, a very interesting and enjoyable tour. We definitely recommend it!
Response from the operator: Dear Lidia, thank you for this positive review; was a pleasure to have you as guest. Hope to welcome you next time :) Fez Female Guide Kaoutar & Rajae

Great
Thank you Kaoutar, we were picked up at the Riad and shown all the highlights of Fes, in private. Spiced up with historical expertise. She organized our request to do a homestay cooking class perfectly.
Response from the operator: Vielen Dank Helen für die Bewertung und wir als Team hoffen, Sie beim nächsten Mal zu sehen Kaoutar Fez Female Guide

A beautiful ride in Fes
Walking around Fes alone means getting lost, with the guide we got to know many hidden corners of the Medina and we could see the local crafts up close.
Response from the operator: Jana, grazie mille per questa meravigliosa recensione È stato un piacere Spero di vederti la prossima volta Kaoutar

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fez Half Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.
How much does Fez Half Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fez Half Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.
Is Fez Half Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fez Half Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fez Half Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fez Half Day Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fez Half Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fez?
+
On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fez?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fez?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Fez Half Day Tour?
+

Does Fez Half Day Tour include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 3 listed pickup locations in and around Fez.
What languages is Fez Half Day Tour offered in?
+

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Fez Half Day Tour?
+
