    Great fun

It was very efficient and we visited places we requested, shops with authentic products made by local artisans. Our guide, Salam, is very knowledgeable about art and history. Helped us a lot with getting discounts at the shops, too! So glad we booked our walking tour with him.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed your walking tour with Salam and appreciated his knowledge of Fes’s history, art, and local craftsmanship. We’re glad he helped you discover authentic products and enjoy a great shopping experience. We hope to welcome you again to Fes!

    Fab Fes

Had a beautiful morning in Fez, wandering the streets and learning about the history of the Medina, exploring and meeting with many different artisans. My favourite was watching the metal and the filagree work, as well as seeing the way the leather is treated and coloured all my hand. It was really cool wandering through the cobbled streets. Ended with a fabulous kebab and mint tea under the shade of an enormous tree.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience in Fez! We’re delighted that you enjoyed discovering the Medina, meeting the talented artisans, and experiencing the traditional metalwork, filigree, and leather craftsmanship. We’re especially happy that you ended your morning with a delicious kebab and refreshing mint tea. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you again soon!

Amazing and in depth tour of the Fes Medina!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic experience exploring the Fes Medina with our guide, Suleiman! He was incredibly funny, warm, and engaging, and made the entire tour feel both informative and genuinely fun. He took us to all of the sights we wanted to see while also introducing us to places and details we never would have discovered on our own. Suleiman gave us an in-depth understanding of the history of Fes and the Medina, bringing the architecture, traditions, and stories behind each sight to life. The tour was the perfect mix of history, culture, local crafts, food, and colorful everyday life in the old city. We especially loved getting to see artisans at work and experiencing the Medina beyond just the major tourist sights. Suleiman was also great at answering all of our questions and tailoring the experience to what interested us. We came away feeling like we had a much deeper appreciation for Fes and its history and culture. Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco — highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed your experience with Suleiman and discovered the history and authentic spirit of the Fes Medina. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

    Wonderful guided tour of Fes!

Ebdul was a fantastic guide! He met us after lunch (and rearranged his day to accommodate our plans!) and took us all over the Medina in Fes. He’s knowledgeable and so friendly! We appreciated his style which included facts in a historical context, paired with fun stories of his time growing up here. Highly recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much and see you soon

Fez Guided Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.

How much does Fez Guided Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at €5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fez Guided Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.

Is Fez Guided Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 258 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fez Guided Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fez Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Fez Guided Tour?

    +

Around 90 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fez Guided Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fez?

    +

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Fez Guided Tour?

    +

Included: Professional guide; and Hotel or riad pick-up and drop off. Not included: Accommodation; Food and drinks; Entrance fees to historical sites ($2); and Private transportation. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Fez Guided Tour include hotel pickup?

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 326 listed pickup locations in and around Fez. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Fez Guided Tour offered in?

    +
