Idriss the great 🇲🇦
Idriss Alaoui was an amazing guide. He was extremely friendly, informative of both the history of the cities we visited as well as the culture of the county. He made sure we tasted local cuisine taught us some of the language, had a great sense of humor!!! We went so many places-I think we hit all the ’recommended’ places/experiences in Morocco. What was also wonderful is he aided in knowing how much to spend in different situations (tips, purchases etc). He became family and it was hard to say goodbye. After we left him, he continued to guide us in the other parts of our trip. He was always available with a great disposition… he set the tone for our whole trip and it was an amazing trip!!!… I highly recommend Idriss!!

Idriss will be especially happy to know his efforts made such a positive impact—he always strives to provide attentive, well-organized, and engaging experiences for our guests. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we really appreciate your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back again in Morocco for another memorable adventure. Warm regards, JRANA MOROCCO TOUR

Inconsistent and Unreliable.
I had very mixed experiences on 3 separate tours (2022, 2023 an 2024) because of the manager's unreliability and inconsistency. While some of the hotels and the sight seeings were exactly as described on our schedule and provided a nice experience to my foreign friends, some other hotels agreed upon one of the tours were switched at the last minute to hotels of lesser quality, leaving us no choice but to stay in those hotels. On one to the 2022 tour we wasted over an our waiting for a scheduled guide who never showed up. We ended up hiring and paying for another guide instead. On the first tour the driver who had been very nice and helpful throughout 12 days didn't show up on the last day to take us back from Rabat to Casablanca airport. We could have easily missed our early morning flights if we hadn't had help from the hotel staff where we spent our last night. In addition we were never reimbursed for the taxi fare. I strongly advise against booking any tour with this company after my 3 very disappointing experiences with owner/manager.

Book with confidence! Fantastic private tour.
Amazing experience! Idriss of Jrana Tours was really exceptional, on time, always thinking ahead to provide the best experience possible for us. He is flexible, easygoing, funny, a prudent driver and expert photographer. We had a great time and added additional transportation and tour services to our original itinerary. You can book with confidence! The hotels provided were also great and overall the experience was fantastic. Thanks Idriss!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.
How much does Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.
Is Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fes to Marrakech Desert Tours start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fez?
+
On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to Chefchaouen from Fez ( instagram /Photos ), Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Fes/Marrakech via Erg Chebbi. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fez?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fez?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
