A Memorable Journey Through the Fes Medina
Aboultif made our experience in Fes truly memorable. His knowledge of the ancient Medina was impressive, and he shared fascinating stories about the history and traditions of the city. We enjoyed discovering the traditional souks and artisan workshops while learning about the craftsmanship behind them. He was kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about Fes. Highly recommended!

Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Truly Passionate About Fes
This tour exceeded all our expectations. The organization was excellent, the itinerary was well planned, and our guide was knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing Moroccan culture. We discovered beautiful historic sites, learned about local traditions, and received great recommendations for food and shopping. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences of our trip to Morocco.

Below Average Experience - Try another Tour.
The tour guide was a pleasant man; however, I did not get or learn much out of this tour. It was a bit unorganized and frustrating. Here is why...1. The tour started around 10:30. I am not sure if it was due to the guide or a person showing up late to the group. 2. The guide offered a few sentences every now and again, but mostly the tour was spend in the Medina, walking slowly and just trying to not lose the guide. Information offered by the tour guide was quite infrequent so this was mostly someone just guiding us through the streets of the medina. 3. Over 2 hours into the tour we still had not seen half of the sites on the itinerary. 4. At around the 2.5 hr mark we began visiting one factory sit down souk after another trying to sell us perfumes/oils/ herbs, then another selling leather products from the tanneries, then another selling scarfs made out of pashmina and blankets/table cloths made out of cactus. 5. At 1:30 pm we had not yet seen the Royal Palace nor the Mellah. I am not sure if he was going to take us there because when we asked he said we needed to be taken by car. He took us to eat at an expensive restaurant with a fixed 3 course menu. I believe people may have been hungry at this point. More than half of the group had appointments following this tour so they were not happy having a sit down lunch offering pre fixed 3 course meal in a restaurant only accepting cash payments. There was concern that it would take close to an 1 hour for serving, eating and paying. More than half of the group did not budget for this extra time or expense, therefore 5 of the 8 people left the restaurant and decided to go their separate ways. I never saw the Royal Palace nor the Mellah. Although pleasant, the tour guide had poor time management, walked most of the medina without sharing much information on what we were seeing, therefore, we did not learn much, and a great deal of time was wasted in the Souks trying to sell us products. That time in the Souks only benefited the tour guide as he gets a commission from the sales; however, these stops were not detailed in the itinerary. The time we lost in the Souks could have been time spent seeing the Royal Palace and learning about the Mellah. Overall the tour can be improved.
