When it comes to Tour Guides, Driss is truly one of a kind!
My family and I had the absolute pleasure of exploring this incredibly, vibrant city with Driss, and it ended up being one of the standout experiences of our entire trip to Fes. What makes Driss so special isn’t just his deep knowledge (which is genuinely exceptional (he seems to know every street, every story, and every person in the Medina). He shares his knowledge for his incredible city with such warmth and passion, and he exudes something very special that I have never encountered on any other tour, and I've visited many countries all over the world. Travelling as a family, we were especially struck by how naturally he connected with all of us. He has a real gift when it comes to working with families. thoughtful, adaptable, and always making sure everyone is engaged, comfortable, and enjoying themselves. Nothing ever felt rushed, in fact, our tour went far beyond what was planned, simply because Driss wanted us to experience as much as possible at our own pace. To ensure that he made the experience one never to forget, he gave us an extra half day tour with no extra charge, such is the beautiful and genuine soul that he is. Driss definitely brought Fez to life, from the hidden corners of the Medina to the artisans, the food, and the history woven into every street. His local knowledge is unmatched, and it’s clear he is deeply respected by the Fes community. Everywhere we went, people stopped us and greeted him like an old friend. Our memories of Fes will live on in our hearts for a lifetime, thanks to Driss' love and kindness <3

Knowledge , Wonder, laughter - what more could you want for a day in Fez
Walking with Driss around and through Fez was the most wonderful experience of all the different ones I had during a month long visit to Morocco 🇲🇦 Driss loves this city with a passion and is known to many - so it is also wonderful to see people greet him with much happiness. His knowledge of the media is superior and I recommend him to everyone I know who might be going to Fez.

His way with people, the energy he radiates, is worth experiencing. Let’s not even talk about the tour-guide part, he is really knowledgeable about any subject regarding Morocco.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.
How much does Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.
Is Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fes Medina Private Walking Tour with Certified Local Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fez?
+
On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to Chefchaouen from Fez ( instagram /Photos ), Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Fes/Marrakech via Erg Chebbi. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fez?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fez?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
