Incredible Tour
Our day touring outside Lisbon with Claudio was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. From the moment we met him, it felt less like we had hired a guide and more like we were spending the day with a knowledgeable local friend who genuinely loves sharing his country. Claudio took us to Sanctuary of Fátima, the stunning Batalha Monastery, the dramatic coastal town of Nazaré, and the charming medieval village of Óbidos. At each stop he brought the places to life with fascinating historical context, local insights, and stories you simply wouldn’t get on a typical tour. Claudio is incredibly personable, smart, kind, and just genuinely fun to spend time with. His knowledge of Portuguese history and culture is impressive, but what really stood out was how naturally he shared it. Nothing felt scripted; it felt like a true insider’s perspective on the country. By the end of the day we felt like we had not only seen some of Portugal’s most beautiful and historic places, but also gained a deeper appreciation for the country through Claudio’s eyes. If you’re visiting Lisbon and considering a day trip, we cannot recommend Claudio highly enough. It was like having a local friend show us around, and it made the entire experience unforgettable.

Ola Viva
Our tour with Claudio was absolutely phenomenal! It was just my friend and me, and he made the experience unforgettable. Claudio was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to some truly special spots that we would have easily missed with another guide rushing through the tour. We never felt hurried—he gave us time to really take everything in. We even shared lunch together and got to know him on a personal level, which made the day feel even more meaningful. Most importantly, we felt completely safe and well cared for the entire time. Highly recommend booking a tour with Claudio—he’s exceptional!
Response from the operator: Olá viva! Dear Christine, Thank you very much for your kind words. Our idea is to offer you the best that a human being has to offer. An authentic, unique, transcendent experience is not something you get every day in your life, but we are immensely pleased that it happens. Thank you so much. Fantastic Tour with Exceptional Service and Accessibility
Excellent communication both before and during the tour. I went with my mother, who uses a wheelchair, and Daniel, our tour guide, was incredibly accommodating and patient. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided great insights about all the places we visited. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, making the experience even more enjoyable. I really appreciated our conversations and would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested!
Response from the operator: Olá viva! Uaauuh. Thank you so much. Best regards. Cláudio Henrique & Daniel Henrique Www.olavivatours.com

Exceptional Tour
We signed up for a three day tour with Claudio and his son Daniel and could not be happier with the complete experience. It started out very early in the morning where Daniel was prompt and picked us up from our hotel in Porto. Daniel was very friendly and during our drive to Lisbon (with stops in between such as Fatima) , Daniel was very informative and knowledgeable in all of the places we went and the history of each place. This made the trip more enjoyable and kept our interest peaked the entire time. After an amazing day and dropping us off at our hotel we finished the tour the next two days with Claudio. Like Daniel, Claudio greeted us with great energy and friendliness. He took us to many places throughout Lisbon and offered excellent suggestions for each place. Both he and Daniel know how to avoid long lines and know what times are best for each location. This in itself was absolutely terrific and allowed for so many more things to accomplish each day. We found out Claudio was a former history teacher and it clearly showed with his wide array of knowledge. Learning about the Portuguese culture along with experiencing so much of it made the trip priceless. For everything we got out of the trip we couldn't envision doing it again without the company of Claudio and Daniel. Thank you both for making our vacation so much more exciting and pleasurable!
Response from the operator: Olá viva! Uaauuh. Thank you so much for your words and sympathy. Best regards. Cláudio Henrique & Daniel Henrique Www.olavivatours.com

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos cost?
+
Prices start at $92 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fatima Tour + Batalha Monastery + Nazareth + Óbidos start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
