SCAM! This is a scam.

THIS IS A SCAM. You will be scammed by this tour and Viator will say they “Have to ask the company” to “allow you a refund” and then you won’t get money back from Viator. Use Get Your Guide and don’t get scammed!

Not so fast track.

I was very disappointed because when I arrived at the museum with my fast track ticket, I was told that because it was sold to me by a third-party I could not get in the fast track line. So I basically paid for fast track with no fast track. Next time I’ll just purchase through the museum.

Response from the operator: We are very sorry for the disappointment and confusion you experienced. You booked the fast-track option with the reasonable expectation of receiving priority entry. We are investigating this matter with our supplier and the museum to understand why the fast-track access was not accepted. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Rip-Off for Standard Tickets

Bad experience. Paid a premium for a timed-entry ticket, went to the Quayside entry for 14:00. The museum staff told me I had an anytime ticket, for a different entrance, and waiting in queue at the Frontcourt entrance. My booking confirmation stated “Fast Track Entrance” which museum staff tell me doesn’t exist. Furthermore the ticket booking experience was through TripAdvisor, but ticket delivery was through WhatsApp, which seems unacceptably questionable. Completely unacceptable experience, when I could have saved a lot of money and just lined up for regular tickets for the same effect.

Response from the operator: We sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration caused during your visit. You paid a premium expecting timed fast-track entry, so we fully understand your disappointment when the museum staff advised that your ticket provided standard anytime access through another entrance. We are urgently investigating the incorrect “Fast Track Entrance” information with our ticket supplier to prevent this from happening again. Tickets may be delivered through WhatsApp to provide quick access, but we understand why this felt concerning when combined with the entry issue. Please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience, wasted time, and poor experience. Thank you for bringing this serious matter to our attention.

Tickets didn’t show up in timely manner.

Tickets ordered Ju e 26th for July 10th. July 9th less than 24 hours before needed, no tickets, provider did not answer phone. Called Viator, they could not reach the ticket provider. Lesson learned, do not book through a third party.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Your booking included free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit. As per our standard process, the e-tickets were issued and shared with you approximately 24 hours before your travel date, which was within the expected delivery timeframe. We understand how concerning it can be when tickets are received close to the visit time, and we regret any stress this may have caused. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our communication and delivery process to provide a better experience for our customers. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Do not use this vendor

This is NOT a skip the line ticket to the Orsay Museum. Even though it says it is in the headline and you are prompted to pick a time. When we arrived we were prompted to go in the line for people with tickets - not the priority line. Then we stood online for over an hour. When they started letting the priority line in, the museum abruptly stopped letting people in. After a half hour, we were told the museum would not be opening that day. We promptly informed Viator of the issue and that vendor said the ticket can be used for a different day. This was our last day in Paris and we requested a refund. They rejected our refund request.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We are very sorry for the confusion regarding the ticket type and for the time you spent waiting at the Musée d’Orsay. We understand how frustrating it was to be directed to the regular ticket-holder line after expecting priority access, especially when the museum later stopped entry and closed for the day. We also recognize that using the ticket on another date was not helpful because this was your final day in Paris. Although the museum closure was outside our control, we are sorry that the product wording and refund outcome added to your disappointment. We are reviewing the listing details to ensure the access conditions and queue information are explained more clearly to future visitors.

Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum cost?

+

Prices start at $37 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Fast Track Entry to the Orsay Museum start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
