Good boat but very disorganised
Rockies is well rated and charges more than others but the service is a bit disappointing. Hotel pick up and drop off is good. But check in and boarding has no communication, is late, unclear and wastes everyones time. First we need to check in at their office and then go to the Boat Harbour and then zero communication. Waiting like 1.5 hours for departure. Same with pick up today, time given to be ready is way earlier than necessary, and then they are very late. Boat is good but the “ land on a platform” is overrated you can also do that at mushroom Bay.
Response from the operator: Hello, We are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience, and we apologize for the inconvenience. However, after checking our booking records, we could not find any booking under your name. We would also like to clarify that Penidago does not sell or provide Rocky Fast Boat tickets on Tripadvisor. It seems that this review may have been posted for the wrong company. We kindly recommend checking the booking details and the company you booked with, as the experience you mentioned is not related to our service. We are only an agent for the fast boat tickets. If the ticket you purchased from us cannot be used, we are fully responsible and will be ready to assist with your complaint. However, regarding the ticket price and service, these are under the responsibility and authority of the fast boat operator Thank you for your understanding.

Felt safe and looked after
We were booked the day after all boats had been cancelled due to bad weather (and a capsize). We were very nervous travelling because of the swell and other reports. What can I say plenty of life jackets which we were all encouraged to wear for the crossing Boat was about 45 mins late leaving luggage loaded and we were off. It was a bit bumpy but no where near as bad as I had imagined. Boat was clean and didn’t smell of diesel You do have to climb up onto boat from the beach but the staff helped. Would recommend

Smooth way to Nusa Lembongan
Sanur Harbour is way better than Padang Bai Harbour. The boat was small and much more organized than other ones. I surely recommend The Tanis as they are well known by the drivers to bring you to their office for check in and I had no problem in my trip at all. All staff were very friendly and nice!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely comment regarding your recent trip with Penidago. Sanur port is the newest port built by the bali government to provide the best service for guests. but to avoid traffic jams we recommend reach to sanur port by giving spend time 2 hours before departure so that you avoid traffic jams and are not late to check in at boat office We will be much appreciate if you could spread your lovely experience to your friends and colleagues, so we could extend our service to them and others. Looking forward to possibility assist you on your next holiday Best regards, Krisna

Best and easiest way of travel! Even with suitcases
Took the trip from Nusa Penida to Nusa Lembongan. This is with a small boat but no worries!!! It was very pleasant and actually fun! No big waves (we took the morning boat at 10 am), just fun short ride. I was worried about going through the sea + beach and getting myself and my big suitcase and small carry on + a bag all wet. But! Even better. Never touched the sea, straight into the harbor. The suitcases? They carried them for me! It was a boat trip I was afraid of but it was one of the best and easiest way to travel. Our taxi (we booked ourself) was standing 1 minute walk away. The walk was on a road so nothing was bad. Would recommend it to everyone. And look up the tide, go when the sea is “high” otherwise you have to walk further.

Just ok
Was just ok. We did the transfer from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan. Travelled in an older boat. The harbour was organised chaos.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuta.
How much does Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago cost?
+
Prices start at $13 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago take?
+
Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuta is not rushed.
Is Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 0.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuta and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Fast Boat Transfer: Sanur to Nusa Lembongan Island by Penidago start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuta?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah, Ubud Day Tour: Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegenungan Waterfall, Rice Terrace, Ubud Private Tour - All Inclusive Premium Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
