Such a fun tour and informative

We had a fantastic time with our Little Lisbon tour. We are a family of 5 - kids ages 10, 8, and 5. The tour was informative - full of history and our fabulous tour guide had games and challenges to keep the kids entertained and engaged. There were a few times that our younger kids lost interest - because there is so much history to learn - and our guide was fabulous at figuring out how to re-engage them again. I would strongly recommend going on tour with them!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your feedback. We will share it with your guide. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Best tour guide we’ve ever had

Julia is probably the best tour guide we’ve ever had in any location, she was extremely knowledgeable, fun, easy going, and kept our 11 and 7 year olds as engaged as us, the parents! I cannot recommend this tour enough, and Julia in particular as a absolute 5-star guide.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you so much for your comments. We shared your review with Julia and she is also very happy to hear that you all enjoyed our tour. We wish you and your family an amazing Summer!

    Highy recommended

We did two Little Lisbon tours, one was the family tour and the other was the food tour. Both tours were excellent and the grand kids (8 and 6) really enjoyed it along with parents and grandkids. The two guides were entertaining, they knew their stuff, imparted knowledge freely and provided unexpected challenges for the kids who were enthralled by the experiences.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to have contributed to a good family experience in Lisbon. We look forward to host you again in the future!

Best "Genuine Lisbon" Tour with Miguel

We had the best tour with Miguel! It was so nice to be with a guide who could talk about the history of the city in engaging, age appropriate ways! He was knowledgable and totally understanding of our 5 and 7 year old. We loved the scavenger hunt to find the different tiles throughout the city and the smell test of the different spices and plants that various settlers brought to Lisbon. Such a fun way to learn about the rich history of the city.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you so much for your review. Miguel had a great time with your family and we are very happy you had fun and all learned interesting things about the city. We look forward to meeting you again in Lisbon!

    Excellent experience

Mariana was wonderful! We had a great experience and learned a lot. She was very sensitive to the mobility limitations of certain people in our group and knew how to keep the children in our group engaged. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear Kate! Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure for me to meet and guide your lovely family in Lisbon! Wish you all the best! Mariana

Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Family Tour: Genuine Lisbon start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
