Amazing Champagne Tour

We had an AMAZING time with Tito on our Champagne tour! Tito and his team did a fantastic job communicating with us and meeting our dietary and accessibility needs during our tour. Tito was incredibly informative and kind, and the two houses we visited were amazing (and our lunch was fantastic). This tour was by far the best experience we had in Paris. Thank you, Tito, and My Winedays for an unforgettable day!

Response from the operator: Dear Ash, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you had such a memorable day with Titouan and that the communication, flexibility, and care throughout the experience made a difference. It is especially lovely to know that the houses visited and the lunch were such highlights. We will be sure to share your kind words with Titouan. Best regards, My WineDays Team

Champagne Tour turned flat

I booked the "Champagne Tour with 10 Wine Tastings" expecting to visit actual vineyards, walk among the vines, and enjoy lunch at a local vineyard with the owners as described in the tour listing. Unfortunately, the experience was very different from what was advertised. We visited three champagne houses, none of which were located at actual vineyards. All three stops were at business offices or facilities within the town of Champagne, with no vineyard experience included. Our first stop consisted of only one tasting. The second stop was a restaurant in town where lunch was served along with four tastings. Despite the tour description, no vineyard owners were present. When we expressed our disappointment about not seeing any real vineyards, our driver went "off tour" and stopped briefly at a vineyard so we could take photos of actual grape vines. He even pulled a warm bottle of champagne from the back of the shuttle that he said was "left over from another tour" so we could use it for pictures and share a glass. While we appreciated the effort, it highlighted how different the actual tour was from what had been advertised. Our final stop was another champagne house business office with no vineyard in sight. After touring a basement museum, we were given a tasting outdoors next to the restroom area, which was far from the vineyard ambiance we expected. We received only three tastings at this location, bringing the total to nine tastings rather than the ten advertised. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable , but the tour itself did not deliver the vineyard experience promised in the description. If you are looking to visit actual vineyards, meet growers, and experience the Champagne countryside, this tour may not meet your expectations.

Response from the operator: Dear Marlynn, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, we would like to provide some additional context regarding the tour. Many visitors expect Champagne houses and production facilities to be located directly among the vineyards. For logistical and historical reasons, production sites, cellars, and tasting facilities are generally located within villages and towns, while the vineyards themselves are spread throughout the surrounding countryside. Regarding lunch, it was held at a wine estate as described. While the owner was not personally present that day, a dedicated ambassador from the estate welcomed the group, shared the history of the house, and guided guests through the Champagnes served during the tasting experience. We also understand your wished to spend more time among the vines. For this reason, your guide made an additional stop of approximately twenty minutes in the vineyards to provide a closer look at the terroir and explain the work carried out throughout the year. The bottle opened during this stop was not leftover from another tour, but a bottle specifically opened on site so guests could fully enjoy the moment while overlooking the vineyards. As for the tastings, the tour includes a variety of tasting formats throughout the day, including standalone tastings and pairings served during lunch. We are sorry if the count felt different from your expectations, but the intention is always to provide a comprehensive introduction to Champagne through several producers and styles. We are nevertheless pleased to hear that you found your guide knowledgeable and enjoyable throughout the day. We appreciate your comments, as they help us better understand how guests interpret the tour description and how we can continue improving the experience. Best regards, My WineDays Team

Perfect Birthday Gift

Cedric, our driver and advisor was great. Felt safe with his driving. He was on time to collect all of us. Cedric gave us lots of incidental information as we went through Paris and out to Reims. The champagne houses were very welcoming and informative. Thoroughly enjoyed the tours but most importantly the champagne! Lunch at the Collery Champage house was wonderful. We have taken away a lot of information and will look at champagne in a very different light. Viva la Paris ❤️

Response from the operator: Dear Lesley, Many thanks for your wonderful words. It is great to know that you had such a great time, and everyone was welcoming. We will pass along your kind words to Cédric. Looking forward to welcoming you in the future. Best regards, My WineDays Team

An incredible day!

What a day! 🥂 From the moment we arrived, we felt completely immersed in the magic of Champagne. Our guide was incredible, so friendly, passionate, and eager to share stories about the region and its wines. Walking through the vineyards, learning about the winemaking process, and tasting exceptional Champagnes right in the cellars was simply unforgettable. Sitting in the middle of the vines with a glass in hand felt like a dream. Every detail was thoughtful, and the day felt entirely tailored to us. We left with full hearts, sparkling memories, and a new love for Champagne. ✨

Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch cost?

+

Prices start at $285 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch take?

+

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Family Estates Champagne Tour from Paris : 10 Tastings & Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
