Express cooking course. 3 dishes made against a glorious back drop.
A great cooking class with Vui. Very experienced and professional. We made Hoi An fried spring rolls , Vietnamese pancakes and red snapper in banana leaf with egg plant in a clay pot. The ingredients were fresh and Vui was a patient and informative teacher . The view over the Thu Bon river from the 1st floor cooking room was great bonus . Thank you

Take THIS cooking class, it's marcellus!
We had the best cooking class with Susan, she is such an amazing cook with the quality to pass on her experience to us. Our self-made four course meal was so yummy and plenty, we did not eat anything else that day! You can tell she comes from a family of cooks (fourth generation). Thanks so much for this wonderful experience!

Best Cooking Class in Hoi An
Wow! What a fantastic cooking class. Faifoo Restaurant and the cooking class are the best. I had a blast in the 3-hour express class. Susan is the best cook ever; the recipes have been passed down through generations. Everything is of the highest quality, with the freshest ingredients. Don't think twice, just sign up. You definitely won't regret it. Highly recommended!

Memorable Experience
Today, my boyfriend and I attended a cooking class at Faifoo Central Restaurant. We were extremely excited to experience cooking foods out of our comfort zone and trying some new tasty food which we can now cook for our families and friends in Ireland. We were blown away by Chef Susan, her passion was infectious and we can’t wipe the smiles off of our faces this afternoon. We were both engrossed with her carefully instructed recipes which we now have access to through QR code. We learned how to cook Fried Spring Rolls, Vietnamese Pancake, Grilled Fish and Eggplant in a Pot. We wore a Chef’s hat and apron and we ate each dish as we made them. Absolutely, DIVINE! If you don't want to experience a cooking class, I would recommend visiting this restaurant just for their food alone. Beautiful view and staff. I highly recommend this cooking class, it is a stand out memorable experience throughout our travels in South East Asia. Thank you!!! 🫶🏻

Had such a lovely day with our guide and chef Ngoc. He was so informative when touring around the farms and markets and we had so much fun learning how to cook some delicious traditional Vietnamese food.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hoi An.
How much does Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant cost?
+
Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hoi An usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hoi An is not rushed.
Is Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hoi An, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hoi An can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hoi An and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Express Cooking Class at Faifoo Central Restaurant start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hoi An within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hoi An?
+
On Outty we rank every Hoi An experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Coconut Jungle Eco & Hoi An City Tour With Boat Ride, Hoi An street food tour with Billy, Hai Van Pass Motorbike Private Tour with Mister T Easy Rider. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hoi An?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
