Absolutely amazing host

I don't even know where to begin except to highly recommend Perfect Travel Excursions. My expectation was that our driver would simply pick us up and drop us off at the places we had booked, just like what has happened with every other tour operator i have ever booked. However, what we received with our guide Yahya, was the most pleasant and welcomed surprise! Our tour guide Yahya picked us up in the evening for our hotel transfer and was with us for 7 days straight. Once he’d pick us up, he would stay with us until he dropped us back (keeping a safe distance to give us time just as a family but being close enough to help and participate should we need him). He was incredibly kind, knowledgable, patient with us, genuine, and above all, he made our time in Fes the best holiday we have ever had as a family. He showed us hidden gems that we hadn’t even expected, which left us super happy. When we wanted to eat something, he would take us to the best places. Yahya helped up pack in a much as we could within the 7 days he was with us, including 2 days to and back from the Sahara dessert, the blue city, meknes, volubilis and moulay idriss day trip. Quad biking, feeding the monkeys, touring us around Fes. All done within the comfort of his excellent ride which more than comfortably fitted my family of 5. So much so that my 16 year old motion sick child (who vehemently hates car rides) actually asked me if we could just go for a super long ride in Yahya’s car! Anything we wanted to do or were interested in, Yahya went above and beyond to try and arrange it. I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards Yahya for making our time in Morocco such a memorable one. This was our first holiday since 2019 (our last coincidentally being Marrakech!) and it was a much needed break and bonding experience for my family of 5. And yahya helped us make it one which we will never forget! Please, please book with

Unforgettable day in Fès with the only tour guide you’ll ever need!

Mohamed was the absolute best guide we could’ve asked for! So friendly and helpful from the first minute, he made sure to show us Fès in all its beauty, was so patient and fun to have around. It felt like hanging out with a friend, we felt very safe and loved our day with him. We started with our own personal driver who drove us around the outskirts of town with the most amazing viewing points, then we continued our day through the medina. We’ve learnt, seen, experienced and tasted so much on this day, it was easily my favorite day of the entire Morocco trip. We’re leaving Fès not only in love with this city, but also with a new friend. Cannot wait to be back!

Response from the operator: Hello Illy! We are so happy to receive your feedback. We are encouraged by your kind words, which mean so much to us. It has been a pleasure meeting you and hope to see you return to Morocco again. Best wishes,

Unforgettable tour with Mohammed

Wow, what an amazing trip we had through Fes all thanks to Mohammed! He carried us around the narrow streets with his charm and energy and made us feel so safe, comfortable and welcome. We trusted him to show us what he believed to be the heart of Fes and he successfully did just that. He naturally explained everything so clearly and is a great addition in bargaining with the locals! By the end of the day, we really had a feel for all the beauty Fes has to offer. If you ever travel to this quaint city, choose the inspiring and wonderful Mohammed as a tour guide, you won’t regret it!

Response from the operator: Hello Laura, We are so grateful for your review. We are pleased we left a good impression with you and memories . Anytime you want to plan a trip to Morocco, your new friends are here to assist. Best wishes,

Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.

How much does Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina cost?

+

Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.

Is Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Explore the Hidden Gems and Main Sites of the Fes Medina start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fez?

+

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to Chefchaouen from Fez ( instagram /Photos ), 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Fes/Marrakech via Erg Chebbi, Fes To Marrakech : 3 Days Tour Via The Desert Of Merzouga & Camel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
