    Overbook and waste our time.

We booked and paid a deposit for the blue caves boat tour in a speedboat and with unlimited drinks. The staff member whattsapped us with further details and informed us our start time had been brought forward to 2pm by half an hour but to arrive at 1.50pm so we did. On arrival there was no organisation, boats just turned up and picked random people up in any order and we were left til last and didn’t get a trip. The last boat wasn’t even a speedboat and more a fishing. Oat with 13 people crammed in it including in the captains area which isn’t as advertised. We went to the office and complained and the woman said she could get us a lift to an island and would try and get us back for free. No mention of blue caves. We asked for our money back and wasted a day of our time in Dubrovnik because of greedy sellers and overbooking. I would avoid this company who don’t seem to have genuine reviews or pictures. Very disappointed and feel let down.

Response from the operator: Dear RAC66, We are sorry to hear that you had this negative experience booking a tour in Dubrovnik. But this was not booked trough our company - as you can see on our website we are not providing group tours to Blue Cave or any other group tours. We kindly ask you to double check the name of the company that provided the trip you booked to ensure feedback reaches the correct place. Since this was posted by mistake, we would greatly appreciate if you could remove the review. Kind regards, BlueMile Team

    Funtastic!

Wow, what a ride! I took my wife and three kids to Dubrovnik's old town with Blue Mile Dubrovnik's boat service. We went from the Sun Gardens resort to town and back. The service and experience was fantastic. The staff were polite, friendly, on time and the boat was clean. The ride into town was exquisite and I highly recommend going to Dubrovnik by boat, the way it was designed to be entered. We viewed the entire old walls from the outside and entered the harbour in awe. The kids were overjoyed. Absolutely breathtaking! Thank you Blue Mile Dubrovnik, you guys were great.

    We had a great time!

We had a great time! It's a really nice boat, with a shaded area, downstairs area with seats and a toilet, and you could sit on the front of the boat which was superb. The Captain was friendly and really laid back. We enjoyed the drinks, and swimming into coves and beaches.

    Amazing experience

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! We had such a beautiful time with our skipper Nikša. The Elaphites are so beautiful, with their hidden caves that we have to reccomend this trip to all guests. The organization was great, we had a small child with us and they prepared everything that was usefull to us. We didn't have to think about anything, just enjoy. Thanks again!!!

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear you had great time on our tour. Best regards, Blue Mile Team

Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.

How much does Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter cost?

    +

Prices start at $1042 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.

Is Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Explore the Caves and Hidden Bays with Underwater Scooter start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
