What you'll see and do
Maya Bay
Maya Bay is a stunningly beautiful bay that's sheltered by 100-metre high cliffs on three sides. Inside the bay there are several beaches, most are small and some only exist at low tide. The main one is around 200 metres long with silky soft white sand, underwater colourful coral and exotic fish in exceptionally clear water; the whole bay is one big reef.

Ko Phi Phi Don
Like the other islands in the archipelago, Phi Phi Don is a non-volcanic island largely made of limestone. It is almost separated into two islands, but a strand of flat land connects them. On this strand lies the largest settlement on the island, as well as most of the resorts.

Viking Cave
Viking Cave is one of the most notable sites on Koh Phi Phi Leh. Located at the bottom of a tall limestone cliff on the northeastern side of the island. Known as Tham Phaya Nak in Thai, Viking Cave owes its name to the paintings found on the eastern southern walls of the cave: they represent various types of boats, including what resembles a Scandinavian drakkar. These paintings are certainly quite recent, and were possibly realised by sailors taking shelter in the cave during a storm.

Long travel - good lunch
This trip was good. The staff were kind and helpful but it wasn’t a comfortable ride in the ferry. We opted for 1st class which were a sort of recliner shape seat but did not l have the comfort of a recliner nor did it recline. For a little over 2 hour ride one way, this was not a good choice. Nevertheless, seeing the beautiful Phi Phi Long Island was amazing. I wish we had more than 2 hours on the island. Waking up and traveling that early, I think more than a couple of mini croissants and a small slice of some chocolate sort of cake should’ve been offered. It we were grateful nonetheless. The lunch was really good and my husband is extremely picky. We had the best fruit smoothies right next to the Resturant where we ate lunch on the island. We had a transfer of boats which was pretty cool and easy to do at sea. The transport that picked us up from the hotel was on time and comfortable however the van going back was extremely uncomfortable to the point that my legs hurt once I got off from being so crushed. The guide was knowledgeable and we leaned a lot. There was a little confusion with some travelers that brought suitcases for overnight lodging at one do the islands. Overall I was glad that we took the excursion but it was an extremely long day spent traveling.
Response from the operator: Dear Carla, We are grateful that you took the time to leave us a review. Your feedback helps us to improve service for everyone. Just to let you know that we have never advertised the seats recline and for the van back, we have passed this on, Thanks, Paul

Worst organization
Worst experiences, food shortage happened for lunch which can be considered as unexpected error but no snookling which was part of event is not acceptable , no travel guide could help us in any way, totally unorganized, all from different travell company booking was clubbed into one boat.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thanks for your review and sorry you did not like the day out. This is a ferry which you would expect would hold many people from various companies. The guide could not help? Our tour includes guide and snorkelling. I also can not find your reservation if you booked with IAsia Thailand. I would be grateful if you can email me your reservation and name to nick@iasiathailand.com to see if you booked this with us or posted in the wrong business. Thanks, Nick Update Jan 29 - Customer has not reached out to us so we assume not booked with us

Great day trip from Phuket
Had a great experience. The entire crew/staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Did the snorkeling off the longboat and totally recommend. The current started kicking in due to an unexpected storm, but it was still a great day. Vegetarian options at the island buffet as well, so that was a plus.
Response from the operator: Dear Bryan, We are so grateful for your 5-star review. Thanks for sharing your rating with us and the community. Regards, Nick

Below expectations
Went from Patong to Phi Phi Island. Phi Phi is below expectations and nothing new to see. Whole day was wasted. Would have spent the day in Phuket in much better way. Ferry was excellent. Bought Gold VIP seats and fully enjoyed.
Response from the operator: Dear Pradee, Thank for your review but it would be great if you can elaborate why you did not like Phi Phi? Phi Phi has just reopened Maya Bay and we have some excellent reviews so I hope you can update with more information, Thanks, Nick

Great experience from start to finish.
Pick up was on time. Absolute pleasure on the ferry to Ko Phi Phi (Premium Class). Wellworth the extra money just for the air conditioning alone. Speed boat allowed us to cover lots of areas in a short amount of time. Lunch was superb with the only problem being that it was too much....but that's not a problem! Return to Phuket included complimentary beers which was a nice touch to complete the day. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Hi Lewie787, Thanks for booking the premium seat upgrade on the ferry to Phi Phi. Its great to read that there was too much food but I see you enjoyed this! Regards, Nick

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ko Phi Phi Don.
How much does Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included cost?
+
Prices start at $1800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ko Phi Phi Don usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ko Phi Phi Don is not rushed.
Is Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ko Phi Phi Don, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ko Phi Phi Don can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ko Phi Phi Don and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explore Phi Phi Islands by Ferry – Snorkeling & Lunch Included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ko Phi Phi Don within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
On Outty we rank every Ko Phi Phi Don experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to James Bond (Canoeing & Kayaking Islands & Lunch), From Phi Phi: Half Day Discover Scuba (2 Dives), From Phi Phi: Sunrise & Beat The Crowds to Maya Bay by Speedboat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
