Would not recommend - avoid.
We were provided with misleading information about the type of dive, and the pickup place. After this we spent two hours whilst the dive company gathered other divers, and generally got themselves organised before we even got in the water. We're fairly chilled when on holiday, but it felt like our time was being wasted. Coral were also half an hour late collecting us. We were told we would do a dive according to our experience. But the reality is we were put in a group with very inexperienced divers. We are not mega experts, but have Open Water, and had done excellent dives elsewhere in Mauritius to 18m (not with this company). This dive was very shallow (mostly around 6m, although slightly deeper at times) and the instructors were standing all over the seabed and corals during the dive, which was sad to see. A really disappointing experience, I would not recommend. The BCD was faulty, with leaks and a missing buckle. Save your time whilst in Mauritius, and book with a different dive company - there are some great ones out there. The reason for a two star review and not one is that the staff were reasonably polite - and I imagine it is not their fault that they work for such a bad company.

Exceptional staff, so-so diving
I state that this diving center has various locations throughout the island. I have been to the Blue Bay one which is located within the Peninsula Bay Beach Resort. I stayed at the Preskil Island Resort (which is nearby) and every morning they picked me up and drove me back to the hotel at the end of the dives. The time varies depending on the site where the dives will be made (generally 08.30-09.00 with return for 13.00-13.30). The dives do not last long (35-40 minutes) with rather short surface times between the first and second (less than an hour, sometimes even half an hour). However, you never leave the safety curve given the modest depths. The dive sites are both outside the reef (of course they are the most interesting) and inside the lagoon (more suitable for less experienced divers). The choice, unfortunately, depends on the weather conditions: in this area the wind is often strong and makes the waves rise that do not allow you to leave the lagoon. Therefore the choice is obligatory in the three-four sites in the lagoon. Nowhere is there much color or large fish; the outside ones are great fun for experienced divers thanks to the currents and a few grottoes, those in the lagoon allow quiet dives with the usual tropical fish but nothing more. The water in this season is not very hot (and sometimes not even the outside temperature if there is strong wind) and therefore a full wetsuit is recommended (I used the shorts but I was at the limit). Ultimately: the dives are nice but nothing exceptional. As for the staff, however, they are really good. They also go out on a boat with only one diver (other diving centers require a minimum of three) and also on Sundays (when many others are closed) and try to meet the needs of customers as far as possible. Both the "secretary" (Davina) and my guide (Enzy) were really great. Unfortunately the weather conditions dictate the law and therefore despite the programs often you have to change the plans even daily, but of course it is not their fault that, indeed, they always try to have at least a couple of alternatives (maybe move to their other center in Flic En Flac with a surcharge for the road, if there the sea is good...). The diving equipment is included in the price of the package (I took 10 dives) but the bad thing is that some off-reef dives have an extra cost (not so in other dives in the area) and a possible night dive (assuming sea conditions allow) costs dear. I also found that other diving centers go to a couple of sites in the lagoon that they seem not to know (or know little about). So, points in favor of this diving center: they go out even on Sundays and with only one diver and go out of the barrier even with high waves and suboptimal conditions (as long as not impossible). Points in favor of the diving center of my resort: more sites in the lagoon (but they come out of the barrier only if the conditions are optimal) and no extra cost for all dives outside the lagoon. In both diving centers the staff is exceptional. In short, if you choose to dive in this area rather than in the busier areas of the north or northwest you have to weigh up the pros and cons (here it is more windy but if you can not go outside the barrier there is always the lagoon, in other parts there is less wind and the dives are all outside the barrier but if the sea conditions are bad you do not go out at all). Amazing
I travel half way around the island to dive. As solo female these guys made me feel so welcome and safe. So much to see, caves turtles and eels. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be back. Thank you

Excellent in every way
An excellent dive centre - very professional (but charming and fun) staff with equipment second to none, and a very caring, safety conscious attitude. Many dives around the world over the years, but the three with these guys were a delight, especially the 'lobster' cave (I won't spoil the surprise) Recommended in every way - even met someone who came down each day from the North of the island to dive here as he felt it was the best facility and diving in Mauritius.
