    Fantastic trip to Mt. Fuji!

This was a fun-filled day with pickup and drop-off service. We were lucky enough to have Yahiro as our guide on our day long adventure. We had fun speaking with him during the entire trip and he was kind enough to answer our million questions about Japan. Most of all, he did a great job helping us find a place for lunch that was safe for my daughter who has celiac. This meant the world to us as Celiac safe Gluten Free can be hard to find here. Thank you Yahiro!

Response from the operator: Dear Alex, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had a fun-filled day exploring Mt. Fuji with Yahiro. He’ll be so happy to know that his thoughtful guidance and conversation made your adventure even more special. We’re especially glad he could help find a safe and enjoyable lunch spot for your daughter—that truly means a lot to us. Thank you again for your review, and we look forward to welcoming you back someday! Best regards, Kyoko

    Great experience

It was a smooth experience booking with Omakase. The tour guide and driver were lovely. We really appreciated our tour guide and driver being patient and flexible with us as we were travelling with a 9month old baby and an elderly person. We also really appreciated our tour guide sharing her vast knowledge of the history, cultural significance and stories of the places we visited. Highly recommend Omakase tours.

Response from the operator: Dear valued guest, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! Traveling with a baby and an elderly guest takes extra care, and we’re happy we could support you throughout. We’re especially glad the guide’s stories and insights added depth to your experience. Thank you again for recommending Omakase—we truly appreciate it! Best regards, Kyoko

    We love K

We toured with Keita "K" and he was one of the nicest human beings to exist. He had the biggest smile on his face everywhere he took us. He also let us really take our time in the places that we went. He was very informative of the places we went and even told us about the folk tales that were popular in the region. The bus driver was also very skilled and respectful and was timely in his drive. The places were very cool to go to including the cable car and the ice cream at the flower garden were to die for. Really recommend this tour and K. He even stayed in contact after for further recommendations.

Response from the operator: Dear valued guest, Thank you for your detailed review and a big love for our guide Keita! We are delighted that you were impressed with his amazing guiding, and also so nice of you to mention the driver's skill. We are very much looking forward to your next visit! Best regards, Kyoko

    Day trip to Mount Fuji

We had booked a day trip to enjoy the surroundings of Mt. Fuji with our guide Keita. It was very enjoyable from the start. We are quite demanding and do not like the obvious tourist attractions. Keita managed to surprise us with a great lunch, changed the schedule half way and took us to a very nice coffee shop at the end. Overall a great day and we highly recommend Keita as a guide. :)

Response from the operator: Dear valued guest, Thank you so much for joining the tour and posting a kind review! We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour around Mt.Fuji with Keita. When you have the chance to travel Japan again, we will be happy to host you anywhere at any time. Best regards, Kyoko

Stunning views and nature around MtFuji, most lovely guide!

Satsuki took us to places with stunning views of Mt Fuji, she and the driver were very kind and knowledgable. For instance, we were able to skip long lines everywhere due to their knowledge of when to go. Also Satsuki was very helpful in finding lunch with vegetarian food.

Response from the operator: Dear valued guest, Thank you so much for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you fully enjoyed the stunning views around the Mt Fuji area due to Satsuki's knowledge as a wonderful guide. I hope we'll be able to help you again during your next trip to Japan! Best regards, Kyoko

Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $220000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Experience the Stunning Nature of Mt.Fuji - Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

    +

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

    +

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
