    Total fraud. Avoid fully

This tour company is a fraud one, they took our money and they never came to pick us up from the hotel, we waited in the lobby and even tried to contact them through the number given on the ticket but there was no reply. Even when we called viator, they tried to call them and their phone number was not reachable. They did not inform us and contacted us about any change. They simply did not come and now we are waiting for our refund from them. Its a request to viator to please delist this service provider so that no other person faces this

Response from the operator: We sincerely apologize that we were unable to provide the experience you had booked with us. Unfortunately, we were out of service that day, and we deeply regret the inconvenience and frustration this caused during your vacation. That said, we would like to clarify one important point: as soon as the refund was requested through Viator, we approved it from our side. We never intended to keep payment for a service that we were unable to provide, and we are sorry that this situation affected your experience. We completely understand your disappointment, and we take responsibility for the fact that we were unable to meet your expectations that day. We only wish we had been able to provide the experience you originally planned. We sincerely hope that, on a future visit to the Riviera Maya, you might give us another opportunity to introduce you to the service, care, and experiences that Jaguar Journey strives to provide to our guests every day. Again, we are truly sorry for what happened and appreciate your understanding.

    Mayan museam and Cenote

I cannot recommend Jaguar Journey tours enough! We were picked up and immediately treated so kindly by both of our guides, Efren and Max. We were given snacks and drinks the entire day (on top of the 2 meals that were part of our tour). Max and Efren made the trip! They were both so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Max has an unending knowledge of the history of Mexico (and many other places/topics as well!) and he taught us so much, he had a lot of passion and seemed to really enjoy his job, which made us enjoy the day even more! Efren made sure to keep us safe, and he was always ready to carry a bag, offer a beer, or tell us a funny story. The Mayan tour was amazing and the Cenote is truly something not worth missing, and the food stops were delicious and unique. I would highly recommend Jaguar Journey, and even more highly recommend Efren and Max as your tour guides!

Response from the operator: With our hearts full and deeply grateful, we want to say thank you. Your words touched our souls and arrived like a long, sincere embrace. Reading them reminds us why we chose this path and why we believe so deeply in what we do. Each experience we share is born from love for this land, its history, and for the people who choose to walk it with us. Knowing that you felt that care, intention, and dedication is an immense gift to us. Efren and Max do not simply guide paths; they share heart, knowledge, and presence. Every day, they honor the essence of Jaguar Journey: to care, to accompany, and to open spaces where magic unfolds naturally. Knowing that you connected with them in such a genuine way fills us with pride and joy. You carry with you a part of our Mayan ancestors. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your story, for seeing with attentive eyes, for listening with open hearts, and for letting yourselves be wrapped in the energy of these Mayan lands. May what you experienced on this day continue to resonate within you, like a gentle echo reminding you that there are journeys that are not only traveled… they are felt. You will always be part of our tribe.

He puts all his passion into every tour, and knowing that his enthusiasm and dedication made your journey more meaningful truly moves us. Fantastic perspective on Cancún with great food and swimming

Axel was a fantastic guide and really captured the beauty of Cancun for my family and I. We went with two teenagers and they both loved Mercado 23, the delicious lunch and most of all the cenote swimming experience. This is a must do tour in Cancun. I left with historical knowledge, an appreciation for the local Mercado , cuisine and a refreshed spiritual outlook after the cenote swim. I highly recommend this tour. I have done many.

Response from the operator: What a profound joy it is to read your words! It fills our hearts to know that your family experienced such special moments and that Axel was able to convey the essence, history, and magic of Cancún in every single moment. We are deeply moved to know that you not only enjoyed Mercado 23, the delicious food, and the cenote, but also gained knowledge, appreciation, and a spiritual renewal. Every detail of this tour is designed to touch the hearts of those who join us, and knowing we achieved that with you fills us with gratitude and happiness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your experience with such warmth. Your words are invaluable to us, as they remind us that what we do goes beyond a tour: it is about creating memories that remain in the soul, awakening genuine emotions, and offering connections that endure — all of which stay within your soul. Thank you for trusting Jaguar Journey to experience this family adventure. Messages like yours inspire us to continue creating magical, authentic, and soulful moments, where every smile, every story, and every instant transforms into an eternal memory.

Highly recommended tour! Professional guide and magical day.

This tour was so well planned and crafted. You can tell Axel and his team but so much thought into the tour and showing the very best hidden gems of Cancun. Mercado 23 was amazing and we tasted many local foods and shopped like locals. Lunch was delicious and more than expected. The cenote was beautiful and relaxing. This company is professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We will 100% use them again. Highly recommended. We went with two teenagers and they really enjoyed it too. Thanks Axel for a special day.

Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23 cost?

    +

Prices start at $2143 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23 take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23 worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23 suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23?

    +

Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Experience Cancun's Hidden Gems, Mayan museum, cenote & Market 23 start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
