Top Shelf Experience from Top Cozumel
Great crew. Israel/Alda were Very accommodating and we felt completely safe bringing my 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter. The team was professional and helpful when needed. We got to experience nurse sharks, turtles, starfish, stingrays, and many other types of marine wildlife. A huge plus…I connected to the Bluetooth speakers and ran the playlist the whole day. Get ready for looks of envy when you cruise past a packed catamaran filled with 75+ people listening to your boats sound system.
Response from the operator: Dear Jeff, Thank you for such a fantastic and entertaining review! We are so thrilled to hear that Israel and Alda delivered such a top shelf experience on the Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo with Top Cozumel Tours for your whole Family. Nurse sharks, turtles, starfish, stingrays, and an abundance of marine life all in one day — the ocean truly put on an incredible show for you! And knowing that your 10 and 12 year old felt completely safe throughout the adventure means everything to us. The Bluetooth speakers and your own playlist cruising past a packed catamaran — now that is our Private Boat Experience at its finest! We hope to welcome your Family back in Cozumel soon for another top shelf adventure! Warm regards, The Top Cozumel Tours Experts Team

Big Fun with Stingrays
We booked this private tour to El Cielo through our resort. We opted to snorkel the starfish, instead of the turtles and then hang out at a sand bar that had many Luna. We had a great lunch and drinks with our Captain Luis and Master Jonathan. The family had a great time! It was surprisingly more fun than expected. They don’t allow sunscreen in the marine park so bring lots of sun covering rash/tshirts. We have wonderful pictures of our trip which was a bonus!
Response from the operator: Dear Reese, Thank you for such a wonderful review! We are so glad to hear that the Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo with Top Cozumel Tours was such a fun and memorable experience for the whole Family — even more than expected! Snorkeling with starfish, enjoying the sandbar, a great lunch and drinks on the water, and wonderful photos to take home are exactly the elements that make a private tour with us so special. We also appreciate you sharing the reminder about sunscreen for fellow Guests — as the tour takes place within the Cozumel National Marine Park, sunscreen of any kind is not permitted in order to protect the fragile coral reef ecosystem. Rash guards, long sleeve shirts, and hats are always the best way to stay protected while respecting the marine environment! We hope to welcome your Family back in Cozumel soon! Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo cost?
+
Prices start at $420 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 64 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo?
+
Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Exclusive Private Boat to El Cielo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
