Exceptional care and an unforgettable experience in Addis Ababa!
Beki and the East Africa Tour Operator team provided outstanding service for my elderly mother and her friend during their recent trip to Addis Ababa. From the very beginning, Beki took the time to beautifully explain the local culture and history. They truly went above and beyond by sharing lunch with them and helping them navigate their shopping trips. As a family, we were incredibly grateful for the peace of mind Beki and the driver provided. They were exceptionally kind, patient, and accommodating, keeping us constantly updated throughout the journey. My mother absolutely loved her adventure! I highly recommend Beki and his team to anyone traveling to Ethiopia. Bravo, Beki, and shukran!

Amazing day! I loves it!!!
This was a great experiance! I enjoyed it very much. Alex (guide) is great. He knows all about the history, the animals and plants of Ethiopia. He shows his books when he explains (for me it was easier to undestand). Nebyou (driver) is a great photographer. I gave him my phone during the tour. He made the best pictures I ever had. A very good team, I will miss them. 😀 I will book more tours with them and this company.
Response from the operator: We thank you very much for your nice review. We are glad to know you have enjoyed the tour with our guide Alex and the driver Nebyou. We hope to serve you with another trips in the future. Thank you. Best wishes, East Africa Tour operator

No one else but Beki !
We had an exceptional day organized by Beki. This was our second tour with him and just with the first one, he went above and beyond to make our day another cultural experience. However, he was not able to guide the tour, Beki arranged one of his friends to chaperone us. The landscape we drive through, the hospitality of the monk at the monastery , his knowledge and willingness to share it with us, the history of the bridge, the stunning waterfall, the great lunch in the nature- left us saying-IT WAS A GREAT DAY with a lot of new impression, learning and experience. If a13 y.o. says- we saw beautiful things today -, you know you made the right decision to go with Beki !
Response from the operator: We thank you very much for your nice review. We are glad to know you have enjoyed the tour with our guide Beki. We hope to serve you with another trips in the future. Thank you. Best wishes, East Africa Tour operator

Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Addis Ababa.
How much does Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Addis Ababa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge take?
+
Plan for about 32 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Addis Ababa is not rushed.
Is Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Addis Ababa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 32-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Addis Ababa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Addis Ababa and add a light layer if any part of the 32-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Escape From Addis - Day Trip To Debre Libanos And The Portuguese Bridge start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Addis Ababa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Addis Ababa?
+
On Outty we rank every Addis Ababa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Addis Ababa Authentic Private City Tour, Addis Ababa Guided City Tour With Airport & Hotel Pick Up, Full Day Tour of Addis Ababa with Hotel Pickup and Drop-off. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Addis Ababa?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Addis Ababa?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
