Our team will pick you up from your Istanbul hotel between 04:00 and 04:30 AM and transfer you comfortably to Istanbul Airport. Upon arrival, you will proceed with your self-check-in and board your flight to Izmir (Ephesus). Artemis was the Greek goddess of the hunt, a virginal protector and the twin sister of Apollo, who eventually replaced the Titan Selene as the Goddess of the Moon. Her ancient temple, built around 650 BC in honor of the cult of Artemis, stood on a site that had long been sacred to the Anatolian Mother Goddess Cybele. The construction was funded by the wealthy King of Lydia, and the marshy ground was deliberately chosen to help cushion the structure against future earthquakes. Over the centuries, however, the temple was repeatedly damaged and destroyed by natural disasters, leading to several reconstructions and collapses throughout its history.

We had a fabulous day...
We had a fabulous day with Selin! From the steps of Ephesus (with a cameo appearance by Garfield, the resident celebrity) to the catwalks of Porque leather factory, it was all in all, a day for the books! 10/10 would recommend to anyone worth considering a day-trip from Istanbul. Pick-up was right on time, transport was comfortable, and we got a lot of knowledge, history, and context about the area!

The worst come back from a day tour ever
It was supposed to be a private day tour to Ephesus. The tour was ok, but they left me 3 hours early at the airport, and when I got to Istanbul had to wait 35 minutes at a Meeting Point crowded with people for the driver to pick me up

Your tour was indeed private: you were the only guest on the tour and on all transfers, with your own guide and vehicle throughout. That is exactly what a private tour means. Regarding the return to Istanbul: our GPS records show a waiting time of 25 minutes, not 35, and this is within the normal, expected range at Istanbul Airport, one of the three largest airports in the world. Under airport regulations, drivers are not permitted to wait inside the terminal; our welcome staff meet the guest at the arrivals hall, notify the driver, and the driver then brings the vehicle from the designated waiting area to the door. This procedure is the same for every arriving passenger and is not something we can change. As for the airport drop-off in Izmir, the transfer is timed according to the flight schedule and standard domestic check-in requirements. Ephesus tour by locals
We had a tour with Fatima in Ephesus. She is an excellent guide! She personalized the tour for our small group. She and our driver are so friendly and helpful. We could only come for the day, and we were able to see so much! We were helped every step of the way, from the moment we arrived at the airport. The lunch included was fantastic. We learned a lot about the history and culture of the country. We really appreciate how helpful Fatima has been and we would definitely recommend!!!
