What you'll see and do
Ephesus Ancient City
You will meet with your tour guide and start your lovely day. Then you will take a 10-minute drive to Ephesus, where you will see with the Odeon Theatre, the Celsus Library and Hadrian Temple. This impressive Corinthian-style temple was dedicated in A.D. 118 and reconstructed in the 4th century. You will see the Great Theatre, dating back to the Hellenistic period. It was at this monumental site that St. Paul preached. As its acoustics remain excellent, this theatre is still in use today. The Marble Road which runs between the Theater and the Celsus Library is part of a sacred walkway. On your return, you will sip apple tea as a myriad of colors unfold before your eyes during a carpet-making demonstration. Or, you may remain in Kusadasi to shop or explore the town independently. Please note: Although there are no uphill surfaces, this excursion does involve extensive walking. Comfortable walking shoes with non-slip soles are therefore recommended.

A Great Way to Learn About Culture and History in a Small Amount of Time
This was an outstanding tour! I learned so much about history and culture in such a small amount of time. My guide answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I saw as much as possible. I traveled with friends who took a different excursion but I experienced Ephesus on a whole different level than they did. My tour guide was wonderful!

Incredible day at Ephesus
The attention was superb. Our personal guide (Rabia) took the time to place us back in to the times of Alexander the Great. Then she has such an ease narrating everything related to the bible and Virgin Mary in such a detail that adults and children were captivated by her narrative. Education ruled through the trip form our guide and our driver. We are going to recommend tour service for sure. Thank you. P.D.: Her choice in where to eat was incredible, all the food was delicious.

private tour for 4 people. exciting day and top Italian guide.
We landed in Kusadasi on July 13, 2023. Tamer was waiting for us at the port, an Italian guide who with a private air-conditioned van showed us Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary and the Basilica of St. John the Apostle. Top organization with prepaid tickets and skip the line allowed us to save on waiting times to better enjoy the visits. Tamer is a spectacular person, a deep connoisseur of the subject and very organized in the movements typical Turkish lunch offered. What about? exciting day and top Italian guide. recommended.

Amazing places, dissapointing experience
I went on this tour with a group of 11 women, friends and family. The places we visited are really breath taking, what an amazing experience. The reason for my 3 stars was the tour guide, I know ot must be challenging to deal with a big group, but she (the tour guide) could have been a bit more patient. When at the house of the Virgin Mary, she didn't let us buy anything at the souvenir store stating that everything was expensive and that we would have a chance to get our souvenirs during lunch time at a co-op that she was taking us to. Well, it turns out that we needed to be part of a carpet sale presentation to eat our lunch, we sat on couches with our lunch plates on our laps while someone was showing us $4,000 carpets that since the beggining we said we had no intention to buy. Needless to say, there was no souvenir shop there and we did not get to buy our souvenirs. We all agreed that the tour guide might had some sort of arrangement to bring potential carpet customers and get a free lunch. If I would've been inform of this, would have rather pay for our lunch and not waste our time with a presentation we were interested in.

+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
