Temple of Olympian Zeus
The Temple of Olympian Zeus is a former colossal temple at the center of the Greek capital Athens. It was dedicated to "Olympian" Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC during the rule of the Athenian tyrants, who envisaged building the greatest temple in the ancient world, but it was not completed until the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD, some 638 years after the project had begun. During the Roman period the temple, which included 104 colossal columns, was renowned as the largest temple in Greece and housed one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world.

The Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro "beautiful marble" is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. It's of the main historic attractions of Athens and it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble. A stadium was built on the site of a simple racecourse by the Athenian statesman Lycurgus at 330 BC, primarily for the Panathenaic Games. It was rebuilt in marble by Herodes Atticus, an Athenian Roman senator, by 144 AD and had a capacity of 50,000 seats. After the rise of Christianity in the 4th century it was largely abandoned. The stadium was excavated in 1869 and after being refurbished, it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the first modern Olympics in 1896 and was the venue for 4 of the 9 contested sports. It is the finishing point for the annual Athens Classic Marathon. It is also the last venue in Greece from where the Olympic flame handover ceremony to the host nation takes place.

Make sure you ask for Jimmy!!!
What a fantasic way to see Athens from multiple perspectives! Jimmy was absolutely awesome and made sure we saw all of the key sites - and - gave us the history along the way both ancient and modern day. Never feeling rushed yet we saw so many places and took many memory making pictures! Worth every penny!

Another couple of awesome excursions with HP Tours - Athens at Night and Half day tour of Ancient Corinth and area.
We had two great excursions (Athens by Night and Ancient Corinth Half Day Tour) with Tasos. He was very patient with us!!! We all enjoyed it - and once again, HP Tours exceeded our expectations. Two of my friends are referring you to their friends! After our tours, one of my friends said “I didn’t realize how much I would love Athens and area!” Thanks again!

Unforgettable tour, time we'll spent.
PANOS made this tour memorable!!! We did a half day tour of Athens. We were greeted and picked up in a nice Mercedes van , very clean. He was very professional. Panos was very knowledgeable, he explained a lot of about Greek history and we compared some things to Egyptian history alongside...he knew what he was talking about... he is very funny too. When we went on an uphill to see top of city, he was very courteous, waited for me as I took my time going upstairs with my knee injury and helped up the stairs... I asked his recommenddions for coffee and we all enjoyed our orders...I highly recommend getting tours with this company and specifically with Panos... you won't regret it!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words. We are thrilled to hear that we managed to exceed your expectations. Ensuring our guests have a memorable experience is our top priority, and we're delighted to have achieved this with you. We hope for the opportunity to welcome you back and offer our services again in the future. Kind Regards, Frank Kotsiopoulos Manager Director H.P. Tours

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $292 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Enjoy Athens highlights in a Night Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
