Great day trip in Mumbai with Oves & Ashock

We had a great day around Mumbai with our guide Oves and driver Ashock! Over was very insightful about the history, traditions, buildings, food, and everything else about Mumbai and India. I asked him lots of questions and he took the time to answer all of them in depth. He also helped us understand more about India and getting some very cool pictures out of today. We asked for a tailor made tour as we had limited amount of time in Mumbai. We visited the open air laundry, and the slums before heading back to the centre for a food tour with Oves. He is very passionate about food and took us to all the best places. We felt very safe throughout our day, and Ashock was a very caring, careful driver through some really challenging traffic! He also organized some water for us in the car which was much appreciated! Would recommend Passport Lifestyles tours when you visit Mumbai!

Amazing tour of Mumbai

I had a wonderful tour with a fantastic female guide- it was a walking tour, and I got to experience the architectural and historical highlights of Mumbai while also witnessing the Indian culture

Excellent highlights of Mumbai walking tour

We had a wonderful private tour of Mumbai called Heritage Walk with our guide Mr. Samarth, who told us we could call him "Sam". He promptly met us in the hotel lobby, and interacted with the driver as needed throughout our tour to make it run smoothly. We visited several UNESCO world heritage sites, and other famous landmarks. Sam seemed quite knowledgeable about the architecture of the area, and its history, as he quickly responded to our questions with appropriate information. He also provided cultural information, such as suggesting possible additional sites and museums we might want to visit later in our stay. He brought and carried umbrellas for us to use, and even held it for me when I was attempting to take photos during a brief rain shower. He graciously changed the itinerary for us to do some shopping at the end of the tour (nearly 3 hours), and even inquiried for us about an appropriate shop nearby, and arranged for a time with the management there. His English was much easier to understand than many other people who sometimes have strong accents, further allowing for our enjoyment of the tour. Definitely a great value and excellent experience with Sam. Highly recommend.

Incredible experience. Ask for Sam!

I’m not typically someone who books organized tours when I travel, but since this was my first time visiting Mumbai, I decided it would be a good way to get oriented. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I made while I was there. My experience with Passport Lifestyles exceeded my expectations from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. He had a great way of sharing his knowledge—engaging and informative without ever feeling overwhelming. Every question I asked was met with thoughtful answers, and every request or detour was met with enthusiasm and great recommendations. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Mumbai than I ever could have gained on my own. If you’re visiting Mumbai, I highly recommend Passport Lifestyles. And if you have the opportunity, ask for Sam. He’s exactly the kind of guide you hope to find when visiting a city for the first time.

Highly Recommended Mumbai City Tour During a Layover

The Mumbai City Tour was a wonderful experience, especially for first-time visitors to Mumbai. My friend and I had an amazing time exploring the city and learning about its rich history and culture. The itinerary was thoughtfully curated, with each stop offering its own unique charm and character. A special thanks to our guide, Sam, who was personable, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. He shared fascinating stories and interesting facts that made the tour both informative and memorable, all while ensuring the pace was comfortable and never rushed. We were also very impressed by our driver, Ram, whose exceptional driving skills helped us navigate Mumbai's busy traffic efficiently. He made sure we arrived at every location on time and got us safely back to the airport for our connecting flight. We booked this tour during a 10-hour layover in Mumbai, and it turned out to be the perfect way to experience the city without worrying about missing our flight.
