The ride was wonderful. We had a fantastic and interesting guide called Mikai. We were collected on time.

    Great Experience!

My family of 4, 40s, 16 and 14 had a great time on this bike ride. Our guide, Maki, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the island, funny, and kept a great pace for us. We really enjoyed the views, changing environment, the knowledge gained through Maki. If you’re in good shape and enjoy awesome scenery, this is the adventure for you. It’s 5 miles uphill on bikes that require pedaling, so you need to be in ‘okay’ shape. The 5 miles downhill was our favorite part as we were able really fly down the mountain!

    Over promised under delivered

Don’t get me wrong, the guide was great, the ride was great BUT we’re still waiting on the pictures that the guide said he’d email us, 4 months ago. I’ve followed up twice with no response.

Response from the operator: Aloha, we are glad you enjoyed your eBike tour. But who was your guide? We can reach out to him and get the photos you are waiting for. This is the first time we heard that you are waiting for a picture.

An awe-inspiring view from the top of Honolulu!

I am super active but had never been on an ebike. It is perhaps the coolest concept I've come across. The bikes were super smooth and the harder/faster you pedal, the more it assists. I was so tickled! Our tour guide, Ian, was also great. Born on Maui, he came to Oahu to attend college, so he has a lifetime of authentic memories of the state and knowledge to share. The total elevation gain was about 1,000 feet, but felt flat as a pancake with the ebikes. The views of Lē' Ahi (Diamond Head) along the ascent were great, with each one better than the last until you finally reach the summit and are rewarded with the most were awe-inspiring view you'll ever see. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Do it, and it may just be the highlight of your trip!

    Get Away from the Crowds

This was our fourth trip to Hawaii over the years and we'd already done the historical stuff. Also not a fan of crowds or shopping or drinking. I found this eBike tour on Viator and it was fantastic! John is the owner/guide and led us on a 10 mile loop through the hills of Maikiki Heights, above the city. Although on paved roadway the whole way, going through this forest preserve area felt a world away from the hustle and bustle below. And the views - STUNNING! Waikiki, Diamond Head and the Pacific beyond. After the tour, I appreciated the granola bar and free ride back into town, so we did not have to wait on an Uber. We had a great time! One bummer, that worked itself out, was that the time for our tour was changed from 9:30am to 8:00am. I did not notice that until the night before. As we were not getting into port until 7:30am, I was nervous about it. But I reached out to John and told him we would do our best. My husband and I hustled that morning and were the very first two people off the ship and grabbed the first taxi. Plenty of time!! The main thing that annoyed me was the other couple on the tour. Definitely not in John's control at all, but wanted to mention it as an aside. I do not know if they were influencers or not, but behaved as if they were the ENTIRE ride!! Selfie sticks while riding, stopping and taking specialty photos A LOT, posing in a zillion ways to get the 'perfect shot' for IG, etc. It made us have to stop far more often than was already planned and wait for them to do their thing. If anyone wants to do a tour for this purpose, they should book privately and not hinder those wanting a relaxing outdoor adventure. Thanks, John, for a great tour! Definitely a highlight of our stops on the islands!

eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Honolulu.

How much does eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest cost?

    +

Prices start at $128 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Honolulu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Honolulu is not rushed.

Is eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 80 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Honolulu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest?

    +

Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Honolulu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Honolulu and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does eBike Tour Honolulu Rainforest start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Honolulu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Honolulu?

    +

Honolulu and greater Oahu run on early starts. Pearl Harbor memorial tickets release on a fixed schedule, the North Shore circle-island loop needs a full day, and the catamaran and snorkel runs off Waikiki fill fast in season. We rank on whether the operator secures Pearl Harbor entry themselves and how tight the circle-island itinerary really is. On Outty we rank every Honolulu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kevo's Beach Bus Paddleboard Snorkel Adventure North Shore Oahu, Pearl Harbor City Tour, Ultimate Pearl Harbor Circle Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Honolulu?

    +

April to June and September to November, between the wet season and peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Honolulu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
