Absolutely not to be missed if u love food n history
This experience was simply outstanding! Sebastian is passionate about his city and food. The places he took us to were amazing and my hubby who loves meat enjoyed the vegetarian restaurant the best. Trust me that’s saying everything right there. Top notch restaurants. The evening was intimate and educational and we felt like family friends by the end. Highly recommend and u will LOVE it.

The best foodie experience with Sebastian!
It truly is the best experience you will have with food in Old Quebec! Sebastian is passionate about what he does and how he shares his love of his city. The gentleman is truly connected to everyone in some way or another and yet is humble, funny, intelligent and informative. At the end of the evening we felt like family friends and I really felt he went above n beyond with the 6 of us. We had another foodie tour cancel on us the day before and we chose his last minute. This couldn’t have worked out better for us in any way!. What an excellent experience!

Tiguidou - a Toast to Genivieve
Our guide Genevieve (“Gen”) was great. She was a lot of fun in addition to being knowledgeable. We went to 5 different places, tasting a wide variety of dishes, all in the Old City. We learned some history along the way. Gen was also great at getting the group engaged with each other. She also took pictures at our stops and sent them to us. The most memorable part of the trip was learning about “Tiguidou”, a Quebec City toast alternative to Sante. When my friend toasted saying Tiguidou in Montreal, we had half of the staff laughing. It was a phrase they had not heard in a long time but which evoked good memories from their pasts.

Friendly Food walk
Sebastian was an amazing guide, food was amazing! Each stop on the route gave us great ideas of places to eat locally on our own. All the restaurants were gracious hosts. Sebastian was able to provide us with history of the restaurant and the area ! It’s like we got 2 tours in one. He even ensured we all new how to navigate back to the hotel or starting place.

How much does Eat With a Local : The True Taste of Quebec City cost?

Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quebec City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Eat With a Local : The True Taste of Quebec City take?
+

Is Eat With a Local : The True Taste of Quebec City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quebec City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Eat With a Local : The True Taste of Quebec City?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Eat With a Local : The True Taste of Quebec City suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Eat With a Local : The True Taste of Quebec City?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quebec City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quebec City and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Eat With a Local : The True Taste of Quebec City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quebec City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quebec City?
+
On Outty we rank every Quebec City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Old Quebec Classique Walking Tour with Funicular, Uncover Old Quebec: Fun Walking Tour with a guide-Gratuity based, Quebec City Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quebec City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quebec City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
