Stress-free and enjoyable tours!
We did a 2-day tour to Machu Picchu with Head Expeditions, and everything was seamless. From booking to the actual trip, they made it so easy. The train ride was comfortable, and our guide gave us so much interesting information about Inca history. Thank you for such a memorable adventure

Amazing team, great tour!
We had amazing time in Cusco visiting Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley and, we felt very lucky to have Head Expedition team as our guides. Hector was very easy to communicate with, well organized and he arranged for us a great itinerary. We did our short Inca Trail hike with Gary from Head Expeditions team. He was fun, very friendly and passionate about the history and culture. We also visited Humantay Lake with Alex as our guide and Paul as our driver. Alex was very caring and also so knowledgeable about the plants, local animals and the culture. In summary, I highly recommend Hector and his awesome team if you visit Cusco to explore amazing Incan sites and hikes!

Most amazing tour to Machu Picchu!
We had the best time hiking to Machu Picchu with Hector as our guide. He is a great communicator, made all of the logistics very easy for us, and made the hike so fun with great stories and facts about the trail. We were unlucky to be in aguas calientes on a day when the rail workers were on strike so all trains for the next 2 days were cancelled (this of course happened completely last minute with no warning so all tour groups and tourists were scrambling to determine their plans). Hector was extremely flexible and supported us in making the right decisions for our group to get home, which included a couple hour walk to the hydroelectric plant to take a few taxis back to where our journey started. I couldn't have imagined being with a more helpful guide - we were so lucky to have Hector and we had such an amazing time even with the unexpected. Highly recommend you go on any tour with Hector and his team - you will have a great time!
Response from the operator: Hello Janna Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experiences with us. Thank you for giving us a perfect rating and for recommending us. I am very happy to know that our staff made your stay pleasant, we hope to see you soon. best regards . Hector

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days cost?
+
Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days?
+
Included: boxlunch, dinner, guide, transportations, train, hotel, entrance tiket, train ticket, bus; and Dinner. Not included: tips, lunch day 2, others. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Easy Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2 days include hotel pickup?
