Madelyn Made Our Zion Stargazing Tour Truly Magical
We had an absolutely amazing time on the Jeep Stargazing & S'mores Tour with Zion Adventure Company, and our tour guide, Madelyn, made the entire experience unforgettable! From the moment we started, Madelyn was kind, patient, and engaging—especially with the three girls in our group (ages 8, 9, and 10). She took the time to answer every one of their questions and made them feel included throughout the evening. Her knowledge of the night sky was incredible. She explained the stars, constellations, why they have their names, and the fascinating history behind them in a way that was both educational and fun. Looking at the moon and stars through the telescope was a highlight of the night, and roasting s'mores under the beautiful Zion sky made the experience even more magical. The girls were absolutely captivated! I would highly recommend Zion Adventure Company to anyone visiting the area. And if you have the opportunity, request Madelyn as your tour guide. She truly went above and beyond, and thanks to her, we had an experience we'll never forget. It was, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such an amazing time. Madelyn truly is a gem, and we’re so glad she made the experience special for your group. Your kind words and recommendations mean the world to us. We’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to Madelyn. We hope to welcome you all back again for another unforgettable adventure.

Awesome Night Tour
Loved everything about this experience. Hans, our guide, was very helpful and knowledgeable. A night tour always gives you that extra feeling, and there were some parts that we didn't expect, which made it more memorable. We travelled with our children aged 10-16, and they loved it.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the awesome review. We are so happy to hear how much you and your family enjoyed your adventure with us. We hope to see all of you back in the Zion area again soon.

Highly recommend
We toured with Han and Caden. Both were friendly and helpful. As the main guide, Han was extremely knowledgeable about the geology, the national park, and he guided us to some great sights of the sunset and area. We loved the stargazing opportunity and Han shared some fantastic information about the stars and constellations. Overall, we had a fantastic time!
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us and for taking the time to share your experience! We're so glad you had a fantastic time. The night skies here are incredible, and we're thrilled you enjoyed learning about the stars and constellations along the way. We hope to welcome you back to East Zion for another adventure soon!

A memorable adventure we would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time on the Sunset S'mores & Stargazing Jeep Ride with East Zion Adventures! Our guide was fantastic—friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. Although there were no s'mores due to the fire ban, we were informed ahead of time, so it wasn't a disappointment at all. The Jeep ride was so much fun, and the scenic overlooks gave us the perfect opportunity to capture some of our favorite family sunset photos of the trip. Watching the sun set over Zion from the observation point was unforgettable. After dark, our guide shared fascinating information about the stars and constellations, and using the telescope made the experience even more special. We never felt rushed, and the entire evening was tailored to our family of two adults and two children under 12. It was a relaxing, memorable adventure that we highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with our Sunset S'mores & Stargazing Jeep Ride! We're so happy to hear that your family had such a memorable evening with us. We appreciate your understanding regarding the fire restrictions and are glad our team was able to communicate the changes in advance. Thank you for choosing East Zion Adventures and for your kind recommendation. We hope to welcome your family back for another adventure under the stars in the future!

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zion National Park.
How much does East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zion National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zion National Park is not rushed.
Is East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zion National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zion National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zion National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does East Zion: Sunset, S'mores, Stargazing Jeep Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zion National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zion National Park?
+
Zion trips centre on the Narrows and Angels Landing, canyoneering in slot canyons, e-bike rides along the scenic drive and Bryce Canyon combination days. Permit handling and gear rental inclusions are the biggest quality differences here. On Outty we rank every Zion National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Award Winning UTV Slot Canyon Tour, East Zion 4 Hour Slot Canyon Canyoneering UTV Tour, East Zion Crimson Canyon Hike & UTV Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zion National Park?
+
April to May and September to October. Summer means early starts. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zion National Park?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
