Lempuyang Temple or The Gates of Heaven is believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Tirta Gangga Water Palace is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest designed and constructed in 1948 by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 - 1966), who was the last king of Karangasem. Ujung Water Palace is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest located in the village of Seraya in Karangasem regency, its the sister site of Tirta Gangga, also built by the late raja of Karangasem. The site suffered near devastation by showers of hot ash following the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963 and also weathered an earthquake in 1979. Tenganan Village is charming and has some very fascinating authentic traditional festival (ritual dances and gladiator) like Bali Aga of Tenganan often holds the battle between local youths. The people of Tenganan are skilled in the unique technique of weaving, called the double ikat, where the belief in the magical power of the fabric is essential in bringing out the beauty of the ikat cloth. There are some versions of story telling us the history of Tenganan Village, some say that the word Tenganan was derived from the word tengah or ngatengahang which means move to the inner area. This derivation of word was having a relation with the movement of the villagers from the seaside to a rural area, in which the position of this village is in the middle of hills, which are western hill (Kauh Hill) and eastern hill (Kangin Hill).

A good trip
Bali Sky Tour is OK we book on line and they reply quickly. Our driver Gusti pick up us on time in our hotel and he drives very well in safety. He talks about the Bali cultural traditions during the day and he's very friendly and nice with us. I raccomanded this tour because you can see more of the tipical culture in Bali out from Ubud. This Tour was amazing! 10/10 would recommend
My trip to the Sky Temple was every influencer’s dream! The drive to the temple was so peaceful and full of scenic views of the mountains, water, and rice fields. My brother and I ate delicious Indonesian cuisine with views of Mt.Agung. And the pictures taken from the temple area were stunning and creative! My brother and I had an amazing time and it was all thanks to our tour guide, Kadek! He’s vase knowledge of Balinese culture, flexibility, and friendliness took our tour to a greater level, and we appreciate him for that!
